Google expands Play Store wishlist with smarter features
Google announced a major upgrade to the Play Store wishlist earlier this month. The update moves the wishlist from a simple list of saved apps to a dynamic hub that learns a user’s preferences, syncs across phones, tablets and Chrome OS devices, and offers tailored suggestions based on browsing habits.
One of the most requested features has been the ability to see the same wishlist on every device logged into the same Google account. The new system stores wishlist data in the cloud, meaning a user can add an app on a phone, discover it later on a laptop, and still see it on a smartwatch.
