And isn't control really just a matter of copying files? And isn't knowledge power? Then it follows that slim AI models trained on **_useful_** info - electronics, physics, genetics - and specifically trained to teach people these subjects in a planned progression that cuts out all the crap - that's what we need. Handheld, trim, and gets straight to the point. And none of the "absolutely, you're so brilliant, etc" junk.

I think we're approaching a future where internet access requires a license, and unlicenced AI will be contraband. The state only sees threats. Sieze the means of learning!
