Sometimes, you have to repeat yourself again and again, and there are days when you feel like, “Why are they fighting again?”
Sibling rivalry can start at a very young age. They fight over toys, attention, food, or even the smallest things. And as a mom, it can honestly be exhausting.
But I’m slowly learning that children also need guidance on how to handle their feelings.
Instead of always shouting, I try to calmly separate them first and let everyone cool down. Then I talk to them one by one and ask what happened.
I also try my best not to compare them with each other. Every child is different, and I want each of them to feel loved and valued.
Another thing I’m learning is to teach them how to share, take turns, say sorry, and use words instead of hitting or shouting.
And of course, I give them individual attention whenever I can. Sometimes, a child is not really looking for a fight—they just want their mommy’s attention. ❤️
Parenting is a learning process for both the children and the parents. I don't always get it right, but I’m trying my best every day.
Because at the end of the day, I don't just want my children to grow up smart. I want them to grow up kind, respectful, loving, and close to each other.
To all the moms and dads out there, you're not alone. Parenting is hard, but we're doing our best. ❤️
