Vocal noir for misrecognition corrected: a wordless voice sings one familiar phrase while the ground beneath it quietly changes, until the phrase stands alone and is plainly a different melody than it seemed — though not one note was ever added. Repair that arrives a century too late to be received, and is still worth making.
