61 Meals, Smiles and a Day We Won’t Forget 🧡

What could be more beautiful than spending a weekend with children, sharing meals, laughter and a little bit of hope?

We had the vision, and you made it possible.

Last Sunday, October 4, 2026, we were in the Akpakpa area for our September action, part of our mission to provide 210 warm meals, water and support to women.

That day, our initial plan was to serve 30 meals, spend time with the children we would meet, listen to them, share some real-life experiences and introduce them to Bitcoin.

But once we arrived, things turned out differently from what we had expected.

The need was much greater than we had prepared for.

While we were getting the meals ready, an elderly woman approached us, and we were able to serve her a meal too. Her smile and gratitude touched us. It was a simple moment, but it reminded us why we do this.

Then we spent time with the children. We talked, laughed, played and shared experiences. We spoke about the importance of education and introduced them to Bitcoin. Beyond the meals, we wanted them to know that someone cares, that their voices matter and that there is more to this world than the challenges they face every day.

And then came the moment of serving the meals.

We had prepared ourselves to serve 30 meals, but by the end of the day, 61 meals had been served.

Yes, 61 meals!

We went beyond our initial target because we couldn't simply ignore the need we saw in front of us. It was more than we had planned for and, honestly, more than our available budget could cover.

But we did what we could.

We paid for the 30 meals we had initially budgeted for. After explaining the situation to the restaurant manager, she kindly agreed to give us credit for 20 additional meals. She also supported our mission by offering 10 meals for free.

That kindness helped us serve more children than we had planned, and we are truly grateful for it.

Each child received a meal, water and juice. We also shared a meal together, making the day even more special.

Where We Stand Financially

Each meal, including food, water and juice, costs 6,500 sats.

Here is the breakdown of the 61 meals served:

30 meals: Paid for by Hope With Bitcoin.
10 meals: Kindly offered by the restaurant.
21 meals: Still to be paid for.

The remaining bill is 136,500 sats.

Thanks to the support already received, we now have 36,500 sats available, enough to cover the cost of 5 meals and part of the outstanding bill.

That means we have approximately 100,000 sats left to raise to settle the bill completely.

We are getting closer, and we are counting on our Hope Builders to help us finish what we started.

Every contribution counts. Whether you can contribute 1,000 sats, 5,000 sats or more, every little bit brings us closer to our goal. You can also help by sharing this update with others.

Thank You, Hope Builders 🧡

To everyone who supported this action, contributed, shared our message or helped make it happen: thank you.

And a special thank you to the restaurant manager for her generosity and understanding. Her support allowed us to do more than we had planned.

We started with a vision to serve 30 meals that day. Together, we ended up serving 61.

This is what happens when people come together around a simple idea: helping one another, one action at a time.

Our September campaign is about more than numbers. It is about the children who ate that day, the conversations we shared, the smiles we witnessed and the people who chose to care.

We had the vision. You made it possible. We have 36,500 sats ready, and we need approximately 100,000 more to clear the remaining bill.

Let's finish what we started.

One meal, one conversation and one smile at a time. 🧡
