Yes! Fig trees are crazy easy to propagate. You can take cuttings in the fall/winter and almost all of them will root and basically turn into new trees. It's crazy - like a money printer for food. But generally they don't starting fruiting right away, so that fig (and another from a different tree) was a nice surprise.
