Interesting! I've seen plenty of the opposite: people with little-to-no coding experience/knowledge making absolute trash!
On your first point, I had that belief previously however now I'm not so certain. On one hand models keep getting better and on the other vibed codebases can be insanely hard to understand even if you know how to code.
