Cloudillo v0.8.19 is out!
The big one this cycle: you can publish from Notillo as a website on your own address. No separate hosti
ng, no exporting.
Pages go out as plain pages or dated blog posts. Drafts stay private. Tag pages, an RSS feed and a sitem
ap come with it. You can mount several documents on one site, build the menu by hand or let it build its
elf, and roll back to the previous version if a publish goes wrong. Embedded decks and whiteboards stay
live on the published page.
The feed can now carry a live document. Share one from its title bar and people open it inside the post,
current as of the moment they look.
Also new: pinned communities live in a row across the top instead of a sidebar, search reads inside PDFs
, and sign-in with passkeys is more reliable. On the server side we reworked how file ownership is track
ed and tightened the permission checks around it.
Our view is simple. What you write together and what you publish shouldn't need two different tools.
