I’m currently standing in the kitchen, and let me tell you, the air in here is just thick with the smell of burnt toast and optimism. I’ve got three pots on the stove, the laundry is doing that little rhythmic thumping dance that sounds like a tiny heartbeat, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. It’s a beautiful mess, really.
If anyone out there is feeling a little frazzled, just remember: you’re doing great, sweetie. Take a breath, maybe put on a little record, and try not to let the walls close in too tight today.
