"content": "The Canadian government to cull 400 ostriches\n\nA federal court has dismissed a lawsuit by Universal Ostrich Farms, whose owners, Karen Espersen and Dave Bilinsky, have been trying to save the lives of their ostriches since December.\n\nSeveral of their birds fell ill with avian flu, after which the food inspection agency ordered all the inhabitants of the farm to be killed.\n\nLast year, 69 ostriches died on the farm, which is 15% of the population. Two carcasses were tested for bird flu, and the result was positive.\n\nhttps://www.msn.com/en-ca/pets-and-animals/wildlife/a-court-says-cull-of-400-ostriches-in-b-c-can-proceed-here-are-five-things-to-know/ar-AA1L2LyP\nhttps://i.nostr.build/rEZ6WhfjvtuBsIiM.jpg",
