From a purely capitalist perspective, Elon's recent announcement about SPCX becoming a cell carrier sounds fantastic. More competition and potentially a reduction in the necessity for cell tower infrastructure, which would be a win for efficiency and deflation.
However, if SPCX replaces the entire cell and ISP stack with one satellite network, that sounds like a permission based surveillance nightmare.
I'm not sure how feasible this is but Elon's track record on moon shots is about 80/20 as far as I can remember and I don't think Bezo's blue balls are going to give him a run for his money.
