At some point there will be a sweet spot where your business is never going to be worth more. The value will plummet as soon as robots crack your market. It’s likely your sons will never take over your business in a world where the speed of change WILL impact all forms of business. I have gone through the business ownership cycle 3 times in the last 25 years. My experience tells me that as soon as you are gone nobody will care. It might be early now to sell your business but having an exit strategy should the unexpected happen should be top of mind IMHO. 🤷‍♂️
