# OUTKAST IS HERE. 🟠
**You don't need permission to exist online.**
LibreNostr is dead. Long live **OUTKAST**.
This isn't just a new name, a new icon, or a fresh coat of paint.
It's a statement.
I started with LibreNostr because I wanted a free, independent, open-source Nostr client. But somewhere along the way, I realized something:
**Freedom shouldn't come with a learning curve.**
Decentralization shouldn't mean complicated interfaces. Privacy shouldn't require a computer science degree. And using Nostr shouldn't feel like configuring a server.
**The technology should serve you. Not the other way around.**
🔥 A completely reimagined UI and UX.
🎨 Two new identities: OUTKAST Dark & Light.
⚡ Social, zaps, messaging, and the features you already know.
🔓 Relay-native. Open source. No gatekeepers.
🧡 A bold new identity for those who refuse to fit inside someone else's walled garden.
Same Nostr. Same freedom. A whole new attitude.
And if you're already using LibreNostr, OUTKAST is its evolution, not a separate app. Your identity stays yours.
We're not building another platform to control you.
We're building a better way to exist outside of them.
No permission. No masters. No walled gardens.
Just you, your keys, and the network.
