I get worked up by politics, current events, world news. I know it's theatre, I know nothing depends on my opinion or my vote. Still catch myself getting pissed or hopeful because this guy said this, that guy said that. Like shouting at a wrestling match I already know is scripted.
Grew up atheist, lived most of my life that way. Middle of the road on everything. Lately circling back to my Orthodox Christian roots. Not really practicing, but I started praying in the morning and before bed. Small thing, feels bigger than it sounds.
What's right, what's wrong, is there even good or bad. Fuck knows. Just walking it.
