I did login with google time ago but now I don't have nsec and can only login to clients that have google sign on. Trying to figure it out.

I logged in on nostr.com website years ago and surely used google sso to sign in because now i don't have private key and can only log in to clients that have google sso as an auth method.
Now i'm fckd if i can't retrieve it somehow because I'm trying to build a client myself and don't want to make a new account. Thread navigation on nostr.com is very bad. You can't suggest this to family and friends.

"X daily limit reached" brought me here but i signed up long ago if i remember correctly, so yesterday going through old bookmarks i found #nostr

You're right, pussies block you. I spam a lot on X. Now I've "reached daily limit" so landed here. Never seen that before on X. It's becoming greedy but it's the least censored in my opinion.
Trying #nostr now but i got problems.

When I get it better I will, but you gotta understand it's not that straightforward even for a programmer like me, I'm still trying to get my private key because i can't find it and i had to logg in with google sso on nostr.com with browser.
I'd like to try and build a client to understand the protocol if I'm able to.

It doesn't need a symbol, it needs to be explained better and made as easy as possible for people to access and use. I can only login on nostr.com website for now which i dislike because I can't find my key and am logged with google sso. Have a nice day.

Hi Cody, why is it not compatible for dms? Can it be used as a #nostr client? I'm new here so sorry if that's a dumb question 🙏

Hello bro, how are you? I'm connected via google sso to nostr.com and can't find my key. Can that help me? I can install Go, no problem I'd love to.
I'd like to try to code my own nostr client if I can, so I need my pk. Please let me know.
Peace and love.

Who's developing the web interface to #nostr?

2026-10-10 09:10:06 UTC

I find it very hard to navigate through threads here at #nostr clicking on a notification does not bring me directly to the post I want to reply to so I'm unable to do so most of the time. Will try to understand the interface better.
I try to reply to everyone, if I don't it means I'm unable to.
