I just told you how to do it. The cost is a few tx to open/close channels, and about 0.25-0.50% worth of lightning fees.

You don't need Monero or any shitcoin... Coinjoins are cool but you don't even need them. Just open two lightning channels from different nodes/wallets and "wash" unlimited sats between them... Lightning is the perfect washing machine for your sats, @nprofile…qp2f has a few guides about that.

Run a self-hosted non-routing Zeus Wallet node with private channels w/ Olympus and Blixt. You don't even have to leave it running 24/7, only when you want to make payments.

We toxic maxis have been telling you guys to use an airgapped #grapheneOS phone OR and old #linux laptop as your hardware wallets for years now, but you didn't listen and you choose to still spend your sats on junk KYC'd toys that will doxxed your personal information, and then steal your stack because of bugs and supply chain attacks. Enjoy.

Monero users get caught because:
- they have all their tx history stored permanently stored onchain
- they are not running their own nodes
- they have no lightning/cashu equivalent
- they have to be constantly using shady swap services because there's no exchanges or p2p trades
I've never seen anyone getting caught while using Lightning or Cashu, but i've seen many Monero users getting rekt.

2026-10-07 04:01:24 UTC

- reply

What hoops? Zeus LN node takes 1 minute to setup on your smartphone... you don't even have to have it running in the background. Cashu works instantly without any setup required. Wasabi coinjoins is 1 click aswell. There isn't even a need to run your own node because of Neutrino. There are no hoops. There are no excuses. There's no advantage to use Monero over Bitcoin. Monero users keep getting rekt and caught by feds and chainanalys because everything is recorded onchain unlike Lightning and Cashu which there are no records besides the database inside my device (which i can delete)...

Life is good. Actually happy.
I live off my bitcoin. No alarm clocks. My sats buy meat, fruit, vegetables, and a gym membership. I go for walks. I listen to music. I read books from before AI poisoned everything. I watch movies. I play retro games from the 2000s when they were still made by humans with passion. I go out with friends and family. All 24 hours of the day belong to me.
Then I look at you all... burning time, energy and sats on Claude tokens and AI Agents... just to build more slop apps and websites that no one cares about. What a sad life you must have.

I've been using Robosats for many years. I'm very active therr. It's always been this way.
My partners who i trade regularly complain about the same thing. It's frustrating to trade sometimes because there's always issues: either tor not connecting, orders not showing up, unable to pay invoices, delays receiving the sats, chats not working, the list goes on...
The latest bug i found was related to passwords, if you used a password on your order, it won't show up on the orders lists and the onion link would show 400 error.
With every update, there are bug fixes, but new bugs are added too... It's been years and the app still feels bad.
The interface/ux is bad too and extremely unresponsive. I don't know how to explain it, but it's not as fast as my other android apps like Amethyst... it feels sluggish.
I wish you guys just rewrote everything from scratch because this is clearly not good. I love Robosats, it's so important, but the app is bad 🥀

When i receive on-chain sats, i just coinjoin them using @nprofile…gldk and then open lightning channels via my @nprofile…2xhz private node.
It layers two very different privacy techniques, such that both would have to fail for my financial privacy to be affected.
The whole process takes me less than a couple of minutes (not counting block confirmations), and i only need to do it once every few months depending on my lightning spending.

Yet another example of what I've been telling everyone. Most, if not all, attacks start with social engineering through messaging apps and then links containing JavaScript exploits.
You people need to ditch cellular SIMs (phone numbers) so attackers can't have a way to contact you, and you must stop allowing JavaScript in your browser by default. Do these two things and your attack surface is drastically reduced...
