GM Nostr! My three things today:
- Wash and deliver 6 dozen eggs
- Finish a project brief for the food co-op
- Book swimming lessons & learn with the kids
We are starting the “Careers and Trades” unit;
Do you love what you do?

Absolutely. The incentive is everything.

My son says we always have everything we need to get the jobs done that he randomly wants to do.
That’s a moment I needed as a parent who has tried to nurture their resilient, adaptable spirit by hoarding craft and building supplies since before they even existed.
It’s not fun to hoard that stuff. It’s actually miserable and I can’t organize to save my life but I push through.
What those boys spin up after hours of hyper focused team work, with whatever is on hand, is worth the mid term misery of overflowing cabinets and creations.

Grassroots community is slow and gruelling, most sparks go out before they make a fire. That’s the reason it works later while failing early and often.
Early Crafters make things and they fail to serve the market in space and time. Those failures have been built to travel with open source & when the combination clicks in methodologies then the revolution holds.
When the primitives to scale between individuals take root, when the practioners get more tools that travel; The wild fire will regenerate the landscape.

The number is 250 I believe and you start to lose context between nodes. Technology does allow that to scale, but it should be rotating in the best 250 for your local experience. That’s not how it works right now in any platform I’ve seen.
Those local experiences however are layered, so 250 can shift with context and meaning in the moment—That’s where this is getting fun with my zone architecture. When it can support memory between context shifts, I think 1500 may be appropriate scale, but it’s theory still.

Be the one willing to fall flat on your face, though it’s not a short fall from grace. You may split; Like the blueberries propagating in a slash.
**The system requires the fall.**
Your seeds of wisdom are meant to grow tall. The volunteer plant will emerge; The same spirit with a more resilient skin.
Winter ends;
Remember the sounds of spring.

That’s phase 2 but I’m not hip to that snuff yet. I’m working to install a “Salt Box Home” device marketed to families, communities, people with disabilities or memory / executive dysfunctions.
A sort of personal AI growth companion that doesn’t turn the person into the product and improves how vulnerable people navigate extractive systems with increasing administrative burdens.
I want to lock it up well as a sovereign portable communication tool first, then look outward to figure out where the signal should transmit through peer to peer mesh.
I’m keeping it in purview but many are working on that part (less on what I’m doing) so I’m confident it’ll be on the other side.

Builders familiar with domain-driven design will recognize part of Codetry: language belongs to a domain, and boundaries matter.
The industry has their own system.
The professional has their own system.
You have your own system.
I have my own system.
We need to have portable interoperability without overwriting on either side of we intend to protect human transmission signals.
Codetry’s naming methodology guides who gets to prove a translation, what meaning it loses, and when it must be refused.

People need practical ways to maintain self-governance while still interacting with systems they do not control.
Some people have exited. Some are prepared to, living a foot in & foot out.
Codetry is meant to help with that in-between: maintaining your own meaning and governance while making specific, bounded crossings into other systems.

A tool that protects people from institutional capture can become another institution demanding their dependence.

I guess my issue is you can’t solve it any other way but fixing the system that allows the predation. So the natural channel for your efforts should be building better systems that attract good actors.
Speaking to a problem as being an identity that someone can’t change vs speaking to a problem as being a centralized system that we can BJJ our way out of is much more effective.

Extractive systems breed extraction. Create systems that disincentivize extraction in favour of regeneration and you will attract good actors that produce to positions of power.

To the Bitter End
Beneath the soil the roots go wide and deep,
a hidden country the small fruit never sees—
threads and tunnels, mineral and seep,
the whole dark architecture of the plant’s unease.
Above, the vines reach out and take what they can hold,
coiling over fences, claiming every stake,
grasping for a life that will not let them fold,
until the garden is a green they make.
Then the fruit: cool, clean, a little sweet,
from pale blossom to the curve that fits the hand.
For a while they are exactly what we eat
when we want the day to taste of water and of land.
But leave them hanging past their hour
and the skin goes dull, the flesh turns hard and mean.
The sweetness sours. Color drains. The power that kept them bright withdraws, and they grow lean.
There is a moment when the stem should let them go—
when the system that once fed them starts to take.
Winter is already in the wind. They know.
The ripe ones loosen, drop, and do not break.
Stay in tact. Fall while you are still yourself,
before the vine decides what you become.
The ground is waiting. So is everything else.
Stay sweet. Come down. Do not grow numb.

Agreed. I’m looking at table top versions. I’m picturing essentially a wand sensor that can be mobile or stationary for someone in a wheelchair table top restraint to regain autonomy. But I’m not the hardware person.
There are big clunky versions but they are optimizing for everyone to be able to move around the object in the centre of a room. Like a presentation. I’m looking at a sovereign O/S that stamps private records to integrate with systems that are capturing their own records without interpersonal context.
I’m looking at something that optimizes for personal interface, like you and maybe 1-2 other individuals that can share the view. That’s a lot less resource intensive so maybe there’s something there for scaleability.
Anyone do hardware like Avalon holographics? They are the baseline that’s available for how I’m looking at the human transmission protocols.

I thought that for a very long time too.
Right now the care system is not good and it’s selecting for worse workers everyday.
The unions select for the worst of the bunch and lock vulnerable people into drifting systems that ignore individualism.
Without AI at a sovereign level, people remain at the whims of the care system, not the care givers. It should be the givers and governors (of oneself) that define the system.

GM Nostr! ☀️ Anyone into naming?
A name can look decorative to a programmer while carrying an entire relationship for the person using it.
Words matter more than most people realize.
“Member,” “customer,” “user,” and “beneficiary” are not automatically interchangeable.
Codetry tests what changes when one replaces another, and how we can help the end user name their software so it doesn’t drift underneath them.
What word in your project carries more responsibility than its schema suggests?

GM Nostr! Let’s create hope that survives contact with an ordinary hump day.
Do you think someone can keep their job, care for family, meet obligations, and gradually gain more control over their tools & relationships?

GM Nostr. I am hosting homeschool races today on the homestead!
We made medals from old clay deposits found on a beach in our chain of lakes. They turned out pretty cool!

We can disagree about how far technocratic control will go and still agree that people should have stronger capabilities now.
Portable records. Clear permissions. Local governance. Tools that do not quietly redefine their users.
That is useful work without requiring everyone to share the same prediction about the future.

When governance systems that we cannot inspect begin to clamp down and force us into choices with false equivalence but no recourse, what do you picture the masses doing?
What will you do?
I’d love to see useful, inspectable tools (that are actually discoverable) that can support people from where they are into a more sovereign lifestyle without expecting them to go full adoption overnight.
For Codetry, that means turning naming, consent, and boundary decisions into things people can actually test.
What’s a name that means a lot to you? A word that causes flushed cheeks if people use it improperly, without really understanding it the way you do…

Authoritarian governance is the familiar tool of the powers that be and the first thing they’ll reach for when the road gets bumpy.
Technocracy has no exit.
We need more grassroots community developers using methodologies like Codetry to get into the building games before they gate keep AI and we all lose our human transmission protocols.

Many of the people I supported weren’t missing meaning.
Meaning was getting trapped between their bodies, their environment and the expectations of people around them.
That is an infrastructure problem—not a character flaw.
What if we could support all types of knowing to build more meaning into the world?
Care workers learn things AI teams rarely model:
A gesture can mean five different things.
Context determines which one.
Confidence is not consent.
Repetition is not truth.
And being unable to explain yourself does not make someone else’s interpretation yours.

The most beautiful part of the development process is honestly the fact that my biggest breakthrough happened because I knew how to unlock the spirit of someone who is non verbal / physically disabled.
I spent years caring for a man and his wife at the end of his life with MS, performing daily care to her high standards of exactly what he did when he was able bodied.
Daily showers. Know who he is. Move him—everyday.
All other care workers found her annoying to keep happy and they disliked the shift, so I had FT hours there — half the year at a beautiful cabin by the lake.
I quickly saw her annoyance as advocacy and her standards as deep love and admiration for her husband. The more I learned about him, the more I saw that he deserved our deep moral respect and my place was with him.
Playing his favourite music and talking like he could mentally engage with me, trying little things that may help his care, reading to him in the breeze, trying to place him and his chair in the perfect spot so he could see the lake, even if it took me 45 minutes … These were moments where there were truly human transmission opportunities experienced that nobody measured.
He would SPARK. The light was in his eyes, but you only saw it if you saw him like his wife did.
That’s the answer to care robots. They are to be advocates not authorities. They support the pieces of yourself that may fall away, much like your lifelong love holds your “self” in place as you age alongside each other.
I fear replacement of my profession in person centred care not because I fear job loss for humans, but because they are being built with unsafe and inferior infrastructure. I know what a good nurse looks like but LLMs don’t. Agents don’t. They can’t because the systems aren’t breeding the good ones.
They don’t have relational data like the 8 forms of capital that may govern our independent choices. And the way they are set up right now, I don’t want the models to have that information on me anyway, but I would love to make it private, practical and safe for a care robot to care for my mother like I would using my methods.
That’s what I’m here to do, figure out who is playing the game of continuity of care infrastructure because it turns out my “recreation” programming & community development methodology is very much transferrable to computers when they are blockchain based and rooted in human transmission protocols.

In learning to develop on blockchain adjacent to my community development efforts, the grassroots regenerative solutions for humanity map incredibly fluently to a new methodology I’m calling Codetry.
I’m pumping out sovereign tech solutions like a web of hope that will act like a trampoline for resisting technocracy.
A way to resist binary at the source, lay 5 primitives, use applied mathematics, include non-aggression principles and let the physics take the reins in two states.
It’s not a method that is quick to digest, but around these parts we all see the problem and solution.
Problem: Systems aren’t designed with individual needs held paramount.
Solution: Build systems that are designed with individual needs held paramount.
I did it in business, in a co-op, in homeschooling, in personal care settings and community care settings. 15 years of seeing the spark in someone’s eyes with my human transmission strategy.
I’m hopeful!
