The XMRmada Concord group now uses my own relay to pass around the encrypted blobs (messages!)
Dittos and Vectors defaults are still there too for redundancy.
Come check out our group chat if your into that kinda thing.

We should just enforce total surveillance on everyone in every facet of their life and there would be no crime.

@npub1yxp…399s is really worried you don't understand how the transaction fee you pay on a L1 affects the fungibility of your transaction.
so i wrote some stuff.

oh
its the classic ignorant maxi who discovered Bitcoin and made it their entire personality without understanding anything about cypherpunk values
monero has held its value over that period because *it provides value to users*
unlike Bitcoin, which has been primarily a speculative investment by Wall Street and VCs

Lol
Somebody is FINALLY trying to use LN to obfuscate the trail of funds (fucking 8 years later 🙄) and now this asshole has to publicly masturbate about it.

Given that genocide and infanticide have been normal human practices for millennia, our modern sensibilities and outrage dont seem to be very helpful to the public discourse around those topics.
Maybe not a popular view.
Anyway,

its "the exception *probes* the rule"

I will be insufferable about this for the rest of my life

there isnt a way to finish the sentence "I am ______” in a way that is always true.
all we can really say is "I am"
after that, everything is arbitrary best guess

Does anyone know what a @npub1jlu…p2kq "vault" is?
Apparently they're not letting people set up and manage actual LN nodes ATM.
so a "vault" is some abstraction that shares a channel among a bunch of folks for a .1% sending fee?

if "dont trust, verify" is going to be an axiomatic rule for living, seems to me we should start with the basics.
So have we verified there's some persistent "self"?
most people seem to just assume it exists, i guess because theres a body walking around?
But the body gets sick and dies randomly, you cant prevent it. the simple fact you can observe the arc of its life demonstrates that the body isnt "myself".
who is it that knows the body?
all i can find is maybe some general tendancies and ideas that change slower than all the random thoughts and feelings.
nothing thats particularly consistent or lasting.

Except the uses of cross-border remittances, dissidents and people saving outside the government system isn't what drove Bitcoin up to 100K.
It's speculative investment by Wall Street and venture Capital.
So he was incorrect that governments would prevent people from gambling on bitcoins fiat price.
And that's all.

legit.
lots of people start holding unpopular views and run straight to a fringe cult because they cant bear to be isolated
now they can pat themselves on the back for being brave AND belong to something.
It doesn't work like that 😂

most people spend their entire lives searching for peers that agree with their established views.
this maximizes personal security and social cohesion at the expense of growth and innovative thinking.
have the courage to be unsafe and have contrary views.
