LAUNCH: If you have a Withings smart health device (watch, scale, etc.), you can sync those stats directly to your personal agent.
I created an open-source sync script that privately relays your data from your device to your AI agent of choice.
Enjoy!

it’s the personal agent that runs its own VM, yes — not available yet in the EU
It’s actually solid, and will soon have confidential computing (aka encryption) as standard

built a Muse agent plugin for Omarchy 💬
chat with your Muse right from the bar.
streamed replies, clickable links, one-click copy.
1 minute setup, pair w/ phone app.
nothing runs on your machine. it’s a chat relay to harness the power of your personal Muse agent on Omarchy
pen source, built on Meta's Muse gadget SDK and soon available in Omarchy’s plugin community site

It's why Australia's social media ban is FAILING in realtime, and why a "kids safety" narrative from political capitals is designed to give *politicians* a win, not parents or kids

The spread of social media bans has more to do with political convenience and a desire to censor than "safety".
As seen in 🇦🇺🇹🇷🇲🇾 (soon 🇬🇧🇨🇦) these bans are technically dubious, threaten online speech, and lock young people out of future technology and social opportunities. We must oppose them at all costs.

Latest project using Hermes and OpenClaw: a workout agent that connects to my smartwatch, nutrition, and workout apps, makes daily suggestions on improving sets, weights, and workouts, and pressures me to eat more protein and drink more water throughout the day via WhatsApp
Thankfully Withings has a great API and I can connect callback URLs on my own server that can be pinged by Hermes which is running on another server at home. Also props to HevyApp for a great developer interface and MCP

“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.
We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

The Samourai Wallet developers created a tool improving privacy for bitcoin on-chain use, similar to cash. Users held control of their own funds.
Prosecutors ignored FinCEN guidance and concocted an unreasonable legal theory of liability to charge them both with breaking money transmission laws despite the tool never taking custody of the funds.
Facing millions in legal costs, 25 years in prison, an overzealous and unfair prosecution, and a Judge with no patience for understanding the broader legal and technical arguments, the developers were essentially forced to plead to lesser charges of "conspiracy" for the sake of their families.
Now, both developers have one month before they are to turn themselves in for 4+ years of incarceration, all for creating a piece of open-source code that allowed people to do want they wanted with their own money.
This prosecution is an unwarranted and unjust process of law that will be looked back on in shame. Every legal tool or resource should be dispensed in order to free them and reverse the dangerous precedent this sets for privacy and financial sovereignty.
Privacy is not a crime, and open-source developers who empower users are not criminals.
Many wealthy and powerful people today use bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to safeguard their wealth and benefit from a real-time settlement network without intermediaries. Every consumer benefits from better tech tools that allow them to take control of their money and spend how they wish.
If people of influence understand and appreciate the broader ethos of the Bitcoin and crypto revolution, rather than trading and getting rich off fees from their shitcoins, they should advocate for both the pardon of these two individuals and for legal safeguards in federal law to ensure this never happens again.
It is not just two these people's lives at stake, but it's the future of how Americans will interact and benefit from technology going forward.

writing an article now on the latest proposal for Chat Control in the EU, which aims to break end-to-end encryption. This time it's Denmark who leads the charge.

The best laws are based on negative rather than positive rights.
It’s why i don’t believe in a “Bitcoin law” — just let people live and use tech.
Restrict state action, empower individuals within reasonable frameworks, and punish those who harm others

In your opinion, what should we call cryptocurrencies that aren’t Bitcoin? (inb4 shitcoin)
In my own writing, I use “crypto-offspring”. It denotes that BTC was the origin of this phenomenon while remaining neutral on any other protocol or token.
I used to use “altcoin” but even that seems to elevate too many of the scam projects, while leaving objectively interesting and valuable projects like Monero in the same category.
Andreas Antonopoulos uses “open blockchains” which I kind of like too, but it’s fairly broad
