Mynode is kinda dead. Very slow updates. Many apps really far behind. I have used it for 5 years, but I'm about to jump ship. The latest update edits your bitcoin config without asking. I don't like spam, but I use bitcoin and need accurate fee rates. https://github.com/mynodebtc/mynode/commit/04fb8201c4d943b7d2ad2e2719d4cbcf8dab5e44

I was thinking about this last night. The logistics will be a nightmare, forcing the user to prove ownership, but better than loosing your stack to a thief.

Poor take, we aren't celebrating the creation of the federal government, we are celebrating independance.
Also, we would have been better off with the articles. The constitution is a shit coin.

I actually like Monero. I was just pointing out the flaw in the meme.

"Hard money" means it's hard to produce. Monero has tail emissions and will inflate forever.

My relay is getting blasted with expired ephemeral events from what appears to be bitchat clients down in central Mexico(based on geohash). Any one else dealing with this?

It was an extremely simplified version of the book. A decent interpretation with the time allowed. To do the book justice it would need to be 15 hours. My wife enjoyed it and she doesn't care for scifi. She does care for Gosling.

99% of the kind 1984 reports I receive are for events that are not even on my relay.

2026-03-19 23:12:48 UTC

Running #ditto

2026-03-19 17:12:00 UTC

Added reporting/moderation(NIP-56) to StrfryGUI. It pulls all kind 1984 notes and provides options to mark reviewed, delete event, or ban/nuke pubkey and all events.
This little project is actually becoming useful.

Why is it these LLM's can effortlessly write increadibly complex code but choke on FreeBSD run control scripts? 🤷‍♂️

2026-03-07 22:54:21 UTC

I vibe coded a new portal to manage strfry relays.
I'm no dev so don't beat me up too bad.
I would love some constructive criticisms. Best practices I violate, security faux pas? Please let me know!
