Most use ngit as backend and relay.ngit.dev as git source which makes is not better than using github.

2026-10-16 22:31:25 UTC

- reply

Gittr uses another backend btw, not ngit.
ngit is a git server + grasp relay. I separated both which let me not only pull in grasp related metadata right from the start for zaps, profilepage, WoT badge n all that jazz.
Important thing is whatever you use they all end up discoverable in all nostr clients :P

Theres a tool for your agent and also you can use the import flow from github/gitlab/gitea/codeberg in gittr.space/new instead of using a terminal.. they all end up on nostr so doesnt really mind where and how you do that..

Well its another ones centralized server.
You can just import your Github/Gitea/Gitlab/Codeberg/Forgejo repo or assets like apps to gittr and push the info about their existance to nostr but the real deal is hosting the git yourself and announcing it to nostr so others can still find but not censor it. Unstoppable code. https://blossom.primal.net/e3600e5187d49f3b72e4900157a351ab28b7facf0a38b900565b507d0296d034.png

You can now check a repo against CVEs in the dependency tab.
Tick on Notifications, if you want to be notified that a new CVE is affecting your repos (created at or imported to gittr).

yesyes, still playing today on smth that affected the fetches, Im merging the Nostr only PRs and issues with the source only ones (which is not only github), have patience with me as i still sip coffee in bed 😉Commits are back up again 😉
SSH keys event was on relays. The Settings page only listed keys from browsers cache, fixed
git.gittr.space is the git host (SSH/HTTPS). wss://… 404 is expected, its not a Nostr relay. If you connect GitHub on that page it now suggests your public keys from https://github.com/<user>.keys / the API. Will need to test that through still though.
gittr on GRASP squashed commit.. HTTP “Push to Nostr” path currently rebuilds a single Push from gittr (…) commit (force-push), so you get unrelated histories vs GitHub’s full log. SSH/git push preserves the history so we’re treating the squash path as a follow-up. Your cargo-limit clone with full history is correct GRASP behaviour.
Lateron todos from source, thats actually a good idea! would you expect it to write back to the source e.g. with a github external identity ?
some clients btw show external identities from 0 only so not sure if Ill not touch that again later :P Where have you been all these months this is so helpful 😄

Typo in bridge api fixed that solved both 🤠
Not bad for a sunday morning 😃
Above the repo theres ToDos as Kanban. Did I understand you correct, you would want these imported from the source ?
Have you seen Architecture and dependencies tab theyre also fun :P

I think you misunderstood the flow. You want to 1.make sure it has been really paid, 2. make sure the solution really IS a solution and that can only be said by the owner which you, yes trust here. If its helpful a withdraw-link is generated for the PR-Creator. In the below flow you risk paying non-solutions/bs, cashu or not doesnt mind.

You misunderstood the flow. Wanted to make sure it really has been 1.paid, 2.helpful. What if in the below flow the solution is in an unwanted or to be adapted by the owner still.. you don't want to pay bs.. https://gittr.space/help#payments https://npub1n2ph08n4pqz4d3jk6n2p35p2f4ldhc5g5tu7dhftfpueajf4rpxqfjhzmc.blossom.band/fb7e954529b00c0832265bc6c364735ba1e5009b3a70d9c50853a0d9999ca032.jpg

Last thing i made is to allow announcements of nostr pages/apps right from the repo page and an MCP for those that use agents, maybe thats also smth youd like.

2026-07-19 07:53:54 UTC

gittr.space now lets you announce your app to nostr app clients like gittr.space/apps.
If a zapstore file is found in the repo root it will also send a confirmation request to show up especially there. Fuck you Apple appstore and fuck you too Google play store. https://blossom.primal.net/2e003f55e0d6291196d714b696fa5b9aed8d3898e8923e9bd5832792f190b5e6.jpg
