Seems 99% of the coverage is agreeing with Blinken.
So, it’s very interesting to see this view. My initial reaction to the situation was “Come on people, overthrow the fraudulent dictator!”
But now, this has made me want to dig deeper.

Good point!
It’s very important to remember that no matter what your multisig setup is, you MUST be able to generate or recover ALL the xPubs.
Example: For a 3 out of 5 multisig, if you lose the seed for any one of the 5 and don’t have its xpub backed up, you’ve lost everything - even though you have the 4 other seeds and it’s a 3 out of 5 multisig!
I know because this is how I lost all my BTC.

I don’t do mainstream media, so I wind up seeing a disproportionate amount of black perpetrator vs white perpetrator posts here (and on the bird app). But hey, you’re free to post what you like and I’m free to post what I like and, hopefully, that will, in the end, make this world a better place.

This really turned me off. I managed to finish it but it really left a bad aftertaste. I also started The Fiat Standard but then dropped it when he started up again with the extreme vitriol. It’s a shame because it really takes away from some otherwise good writing.

You contradict yourself. Initially, you argue, “Big businesses need infinite economic growth.” Later, you claim, “They plan on taking advantage of climate change reducing the population to have more resources for themselves.” How can they achieve infinite economic growth with a significantly reduced population?
Moreover, if climate change were to reduce the population, it would likely be the poorest who suffer the most, as they control the least resources. This wouldn’t necessarily leave more resources for the wealthy. Additionally, who would be left to work in their factories?
While I agree that there is an excessive production of unnecessary plastic products, I don’t believe capitalism is to blame. What we currently have isn’t true capitalism. It’s a system where profits are privatized while losses are socialized. It also directs significant public funds into the military-industrial complex, which is a major contributor to pollution
