The bitcoiner's pathetic clinging to BTC as some kind of revolutionary freedom tech, almost 20 years after it's launch, when it is clearly a regulatory captured, mostly kycd surveillance NFT primarily held by banks and financial institutions needs to be studied.
Some will even concede that BTC is not better p2p cash than monero and say to spend monero, but to save in BTC. Remind me why I would want to save in a totally transparent regulatory captured, non fungible token that can be traced, taxed, considered tainted, and that 85-90% of the other users have KYC'd to acquire?

the niche was found and lost, sorry. the darknet used to be bitcoin only, but now it almost all xmr in the west.
bitcoin used to be something you needed to buy in order to buy something illegal, but since it never had sufficient privacy, the markets have moved on, and largely chosen xmr.
why does this matter? because bitcoin was not private enough for sovereign adversaries. the markets watched whitehouse market retire, being xmr only, and hive market get taken down for having bitcoin demixed.
Now, you need to buy xmr for truly censorship resistant transactions, not bitcoin. even ransomware taxes for bitcoin and tries to get the victims to pay in xmr first. this is a fundamental shift maxis ignore.
bitcoiners welcomed legitimacy within the financial system and shunned the darknet free markets in order to gain favor with wall st and legitimize bitcoin for the mainstream.
now bitcoin is just a suitcoiner coin, that nobody needs to buy for censorship resistance and which we now know would just be stupid to use for censorship resistant transactions after the canadian trucker protest and the countless examples of people going to jail for using bitcoin and getting their bitcoin traced and seized.
bitcoin's only value proposition now is a greater fool, sell it to someone else for more, wall st. trinket nft, that we now know was basically funded by epstein. epstein literally created the digital gold narrative. the biggest bitcoin companies are in bed with howard lutnik.
btc is a bank captured nft that isn't even scarce anymore due to all the paper bitcoin. it lost its niche being the go to coin for transactions the state can't stop, to a coin that leaves an immutable unchangeable record of every transaction for the tyranny of the state to track until the end of time.

It would be definitely be valuable for someone, but our RSS feed is handled through our site, my co-host is pretty knowledgeable about programming and made our site custom for our needs.
Honestly, I know you won't like it, but integrating XMRChat.com into ShoSho would sweet af. You could have it alongside lightning and allow viewers/donaters/senders the choice to choose if LN or XMR.
Another sick feature would be to offer the RSS and have it automatically distribute your recorded stream to the podcastindex.org and have it automatically distribute your recording as a podcast in podcasting 2.0 apps like fountain , antennaepod, boostmebitch, etc.
Another thing is in ShoSho you have a relays option to add a nostr relay, but if I don't run my own, it would be cool if shosho had a default relay one could use to auto distribute the stream as a post to nostr clients like ditto, primal, damus, etc

Hey, @npub1r0d…fsft
I discovered shosho and zap stream by asking people here on nostr what the nostr Livestream options were and both were recommended in that thread.
I had previously seen other people on nostr streaming over nostr a while back.
I am currently using both shosho and zap stream, as well as twitch, kick, rumble, youtube, odysee, and a couple other streaming/video platforms to distribute my self-hosted Livestream show that idk with my friend Dave, aka Snex, who is my co-host.
I am using shosho, zap stream, fountain and XMRChat for superchats/boosts/donations/questions.
Tbh I like shosho better than zap stream, fwiw. The UI is more intuitive, and is easier to setup the connection in my datarhei restreamer instance.
Hope that answers your questions. If you ever want to come on the stream, message me, I would love to interview you about shosho. We stream every Thursday at 7pm US Central / 5pm US Pacific.

No, it is the fact that Epstein funded and steered the development to make it "digital gold" without privacy/fungibility and the biggest companies in the space, like blockstream, bitfinex, and tether are joined at the hip with Epstein pedophile associates like lutnik and people like Andy back went to the island. I want nothing to do with the Epstein fork of Bitcoin.

2026-06-25 13:34:40 UTC

History has vindicated Roger, he was correct that small blockers were undermining BTC as money, he was correct that Bitcoin was hijacked by bankers, it was revealed in the Epstein files that Epstein funded the devs to handicap the protocol, kill the p2p cash aspect and replace it with the Epstein invented digital gold narrative, and that Andy Back the fraud who faked inventing proof of work, visited the pedophile island and sold out blockstream to Epstein. Roger was correct and Bitcoin (BTC) is a hijacked pedo surveillance NFT. Bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin, no matter how unpopular this ideas is here on maxitard nostr.
