Twitter (who wants to be called X) just released XMoney to the public. Even though X gave $5 just to open the account, it's just another bank. I would rather send my Nostr NMoney to people... oh wait there's no nmoney it's just bitcoin

How did that one can of root beer cost almost $900

@nprofile…vhl6 I just saw in Amethyst a setting that lets you fold NIP29 relays into a single entry in the DMs; it would be nice if there was also a setting like this for Concord

And not the games themselves, but their draconian anticheat methods.

@nprofile…zq5c's Agora exists, but sadly it only supports onchain (no Lightning) and it was designed more for charity fundraisers than Kickstarter startups

Hey if anyone wants to see this documentation for Nostr I was working on here it is

Ok so I saw popups on my Ditto feed saying that @npub1g53…drvk (the Iris guy) had apparently replicated repositories published under his organization @npub1xdh…eycm on Iris Git (hashtree) to ngit but the code is still only hosted on hashtree, no GRASP nodes. With no GRASP nodes the code can still only be viewed on Iris Git (not GitWorkshop) and requires htree to clone (not ngit).

I still think that it’s better that there’s no weird company or algorithm controlling your revenue, people just support content that speaks to them

what is that app you're using?

Just found out that @npub1cm3…96wt has LNURLauth, thought for the longest time that Wallet of Satoshi was the only lightning wallet with LNURLauth support lol
Was going to look at Stacker News and scanned an LNURLauth code with Blitz and it just worked

2026-06-25 01:11:15 UTC

Looked at Ditto's trending bar and the art tag is dominated by Fediverse users (Mostr) lol

One thing I wish we had for Nostr was a desktop signer, something like Amber but for desktop, so we didn't have to rely on browsers handling extensions well (LOOKING AT YOU FLOORP, WHY DO YOU DELETE MY EXTENSIONS)
A workaround for Linux: install Waydroid and you can use Amber.

Idk why Nintendo can't do better online rich presence in their games, I wish I could see if someone playing Splatoon was drawing or playing singleplayer modes D:

Probably the apps per account is the main limiter for people; and I might be an edge case because I was testing or because I use many different apps.
I only have 3 npubs, but this is the main one (another is just for testing, and another is an archive of an old Twitter account of mine ported using Paul’s Own Your Posts).

There’s still a limit of 5 apps per nsec… is that still a thing or do I need to throw away the testflight version and install the production version

#Splatoon3 #SalmonRun
Ok here's the big wall of highlights for the Big Big Run; yes i'm very analytical and I spent a lot of time with the nindo app during the event to document this lol

Does else anyone with an iPhone 16 or later have problems with cases getting damaged around the camera button 🫠

One feature the Switch really needs: online status messages
You could say you want people to join you, or something random, or something else about a game :>
Like Discord status but on the Switch (2)

I admire @nprofile…frgc's efforts to make data passed through relays by Nowhere pages completely benign. They don't have the public keys of the users sending them, they don't have anything saying that it was Nowhere that made them. Not even two events sent by the EXACT SAME device or npub have the same public keys.
It took me a WHILE to figure out how to find these events, doing all kinds of trickery with browser devtools and the nak CLI.

So is this just going to be a freedom tech nonprofit or are we going to get an ArchipelagoBox to compete with companies like Start9 and Umbrel?

This seems really cool :D
Will you add Bluesky or Mastodon support at some point? Those apps allow you to gather MANY more posts from someone's account than Twitter does since they're designed with openness in mind
I tried to come up with a Bluesky-Nostr automatic bridge in Python with some Nostr library but I could never get the posts to show up in any Nostr client (I tried Primal and YakiHonne), the accounts I was trying to test with were https://littlebit672.bsky.social and @nprofile…aa54
