An active user here is a “daily active trusted pubkey” according to Nostr Band

2023-07-14 13:46:57 UTC

Twitter's rate-limiting in early July almost doubled Nostr's daily active users in a couple of days.
Usage has pulled back since then, but seems to have stabilized at over 10,000 daily active users.
That's up 25% from the baseline in May and June.

Wallet of Satoshi just topped 8,000,000 Lightning payments to date, and is now processing over 30,000 per day.
That's up from the 10,000 payments/day they were averaging just 6 months ago.
