Just saw through a friend that the parish in my birth city is now offering an inclusive church service early in the morning on Sundays. It's supposed to be quieter and shorter then the usual one.
This kind of initiative makes the day of moms with neurodivergent children more beautiful ❤️ 🙏🏽

I've been asked a similar question at an ice breaker activity at work a few months ago, and I still haven't found a single object I couldn't do without, even though I still own a lot of stuff (what I am actually not really proud of.)
But there are some people in my life that I would miss dearly if I would lose them somehow.

Cherish having them around "all the time" when they are still little.

Thank you. I am neither trying to win a discussion nor disqualifying your approach. I see we have different points of view and I am in peace with that, so I’ll leave the thread now, because I’m afraid it hit its ceiling and is going to a path I generally don’t take. 👋🏼

2026-04-11 21:01:14 UTC

- reply

Well, you’re entitled to your opinion, I respect that. My point wasn’t disqualifying feelings - I am myself a very emotional person. But in my experience, the road between feeling and taking action is not always that linear. Before taking some actions, I need to discern if I’m acting out of affect/ desire or if it’s a grounded decision. For me earlier decisions that took this direct path from feeling to action have led me to some non-ideal outcomes. If I look back, those feelings weren’t mature yet - ai was acting out of reactivity, fear or ego. It wasn’t therefore a freely chosen path.
But whatever works for each of us is valid. I don’t believe there just one ideal path there.

2026-04-11 18:20:04 UTC

- reply

I’m afraid it is not that simple. Feelings can be misleading, and sometimes you need to sit a bit longer with them to see how sustainable and stable they are before acting on them - what are the consequences, is the timing right, do I still want this after a certain time? Timing is so important here… not acting at all means missing opportunities/ relationships, but acting purely reactively to one’s feelings is impulsivity and mostly leads to losing yourself in the process.

2026-04-08 20:32:38 UTC

Hmmm, I checked their calculator and at a first glance it doesn’t look very profitable to me. For example, 1K (USD) per 30 days to get approximately 0.014 BTC - or less even… at the current rates it doesn’t make much sense. But maybe I’m calculating it wrong.
