I recommended you a few times in the past not to overhype the privacy state of Lightning. I suggest you align your documentation with this: https://lightningprivacy.com/en/introduction

And if you are referring to in-Spark transactions, the same issue exists in an in-LSP transaction... I.e. the sender and receiver are connected to the same LSP.

Get your facts straight. You can blame me all you want, but this is a complete misunderstanding of how Lightning works.
If the LSP knows the destination node, it knows the destination. period. And you don't understand how Phoenix works - they don't do source routing. They use they LSP as a trampoline nodes. They construct the path and they know the destination.
Moreover, even in cases of source routing - if the user is connected to a single LSP - the LSP effectively controls the path because the graph information is fed by the LSP...

The default behavior in the Breez SDK is not to expose the spark address in the bolt11, so you can't do what Evan showed above. However, since spark reuses addresses (currently), you can still apply stuff like timing attacks to discover the underlying address. This should be addressed soon by the spark team (they are switching to a dynamic address model).

Misty Breez is self-custodial. You're referring to L-BTC, which is held in a Liquid federation. There are 15 functionaries (all from different entities) in Liquid, so no need to FUD in order to get ppl using your service.

what's exactly are you asking? we're already support sending to bip353. are you asking about receive? we first need to support bolt12 receive, bip353 will come shortly afterwards hopefully.

David, all these issues are resolved with our Nodeless SDK. There's no liquidity management. Edge is focused on trading, not payments and Paul doesn't believe in Lightning. While Ark is promising, it is theoretical because no one understands the economic model of running an Ark at scale.

EOL? I never said that... I've clearly stated we're not deprecating the app. Whilst we are focused on our SDK, the app is being maintained and we're keeping it aligned with the latest lnd stack.

you can open a channel from your node to Breez: https://doc.breez.technology/Opening-Channels.html
We're also added an additional routing node lately, and the success rate is higher.

Unfortunately, you can't detach Lightning from the chain. Channel closures can happen in any non-custodial wallet (especially if you didn't use it for two years). Sweeping requires an on-chain transaction (that was the morning you saw). You will be able to redeem the funds once the mempool settles down.

Roy from Breez here. Not sure what happened to your friend, but sats can't just disappear. If you sent an on-chain transaction and the swap failed, they should be refunded in Breez.
