Because of lighting delays on set, they kept drinking to maintain their buzz and ended up highly intoxicated, resulting in multiple retakes because they kept slurring and forgetting lines.

MY TAKE: It really is an incredibly fun movie to watch! It balances laugh-out-loud comedy with moments that make you want to cheer out loud.👍🍿

YouTube trailer link:
https://youtu.be/K0eDlFX9GMc?si=d6bLXV6SLSnkk--I

2026-09-10T05:15:19Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqs0axj4qcwymvxctyw663cpq70zyr5w3mq8xphqrt2xa95tclh3cdqzyzxlf5g6lnxlawvpferp2rc00h0fgswj5swprlxzdr9qgcq2vrplxwfvw56 MOVIE OF THE DAY 🎬
THE LAST HOUSE

Netflix's sci-fi horror film The Last House (2026), directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Wagner Moura and Greta Lee, is a unique survival story born from pandemic-era isolation.

Interesting Facts:
- The film opens with a telling quote by Arthur C. Clarke: "How inappropriate to call this planet Earth when it's clearly an ocean," which foreshadows the true nature of the external threat.

- The mysterious silhouettes and creatures outside are not extraterrestrials; they are an ancient deep-sea species that existed on Earth long before humanity.

MY TAKE: Spending months or years trapped inside your own home changes how you view a space that is supposed to represent safety. They left behind 15 Sakhalin Husky sled dogs, believing a quick return flight would pick them up.

Interesting Facts:
- Over 30 Dogs Used: Each of the eight main sled dogs had at least one stunt double, meaning more than 30 dogs worked on the film. The canine pack consisted of two Alaskan Malamutes and six Siberian Huskies.

- The movie is set in 1993, which was precisely the final year that sled dogs were permitted in Antarctica. Dogs have been officially banned by international treaty since 1993 to prevent the spread of diseases to local seal populations.

MY TAKE: The scene where the dogs hunt a flock of gulls together to survive—and Maya gives up her portion of the food to the rest of the pack—is incredibly memorable. The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood, which is written as a fictional historical account compiled by maesters and court gossips.

Interesting Facts:
- During the filming of House of the Dragon, the production set a world record for setting 23 stunt performers on fire simultaneously in a single take. Actors riding dragons sat on mechanical bucks surrounded by LED screens and leaf blowers, and sound designers based dragon vocalizations on quirky personalities like Taylor Swift fans or human infants.

MY TAKE:
House of the Dragon compares to Game of Thrones is a continent-wide political thriller for a highly concentrated, family tragedy. While both shows share the brutal, high-stakes DNA of Westeros, they approach storytelling, pacing, and conflict through entirely different lenses.👍🍿

YouTube trailer link:
https://youtu.be/DotnJ7tTA34?si=V1AFmldCm2aXD02L

2026-08-22T05:41:01Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqsd2taq0ntfryxpv0jl8fcyf4g8msm23zkqkgtefpfqw5kj6lcf3kgzyzxlf5g6lnxlawvpferp2rc00h0fgswj5swprlxzdr9qgcq2vrplxwnjekp MOVIE OF THE DAY 🎬
Prison Playbook - Korean Series
(also known as Wise Prison Life)

Is a critically acclaimed dark comedy/slice-of-life K-drama following superstar baseball pitcher Kim Je-hyuk (Park Hae-soo), who lands in prison after using excessive force to protect his sister.
