I disagree, I think it's bad with few exceptions, not good with few exceptions.

I'm of the opinion that knowing how to write code (not just review it, write it) helps shape your formal thinking, because the formal language you are using is better suited for the task than natural language and if you need an LLM to "help you" it means you don't understand what you are doing well enough, else it wouldn't really be of much help.
Of course, in a big project you may not understand all parts, but I think there is a benefit to all parts having been written manually. When you do read code in those parts, you can try and understand the intention behind them and the thoughts of the authors who was thinking that code. I don't care to know who the author specifically is, but there needs to be one for this to be possible, same as with a book.
Because it's quite hard to know whether you actually understood a bit of code correctly, I think preserving our ability to write it, and doing so, is what we need in order to know that, collectively, we do understand system in whole.

Furthermore, I value the creation of projects enough as an artistic human feat that I think the relatively small advantage of using LLMs isn't worth giving that up even partially.

Personally I'm for using code completion (not AI-based) if I can essentially use it blindfolded and know exactly what characters it will write.

The issue with Primal is much of what it does is decentralized. And some of its features don't even use the Nostr protocol.
It's, at least in part, a centralized platform that happens to use Nostr as a database.

On Nostr you can use multiple relays. Even without the outbox model we can communicate if we share at least one relay that allows us to communicate.
On Mastodon you depend on your one admin that you picked and we can communicate only if both of our admins allow us to. To address this you can have multiple Mastodon accounts, of course. The advantage of Nostr is you can reach others with just one account and no one person can ban you.

It's been clear from day 0 that both clients and relays can do what they want.

What matters is that users can also do what they want.

If a client does something you don't want it to, why would you ever use that client?

On a centralized platform, say Facebook or Twitter, the user is a slave to the platform owner. You can't pick your server, there is one server. You can hardly modify the client and doing so will likely breach some TOS agreement.

I'm of the opinion it should absolutely go on the right, as that is consistent with all other declarations in C. In C, declaration mimics use. It's true you are declaring a variable of int* type, but the declaration should be based on how that is converted to int.
So:

This is in contrast with, for example, D, where the type, simple or not, is on the left of the variable name. Declarations do *not* mimic use. So in D I write "int* a", although both C and D accept both syntaxes.

Now, C++ also has pointers, and of course I use the same syntax for declaring a pointer as I do in C.
C++ also has references, which are very similar, nearly the exact same, and possibly the same at the low level, but not actually the same concept in the language.

The fucking ampersand is used to declare a reference. This does not mimic use.
You cannot convert an int& variable back to int by using the & operator. The use of the ampersand is inconsistent with the rest of the style of the language.

Kind:1337 has one purpose: the enjoyment of the hobby of sharing and reading code snippets.
