I think this is the last major update I’ll make in a while because I am TIRED but I’m also happy and proud of its progress.

In a nutshell, I've introduced a memory system and more advanced adaptive learning assistant to the app. So now when you get things wrong across any learning modality, the app will store that and save it for the next day's quest.

The next day's quest will then produce a repair task in the daily quest, using one to two days of insights, that will have users go through quick bite sized lessons using the existing learning modalities to review and correct those mistakes, followed by the rest of the daily quest to tackle new material.

With this, the app feels more complete and much more like I envisioned - every part feels makes sense now. The pets will welcome users with a message explain what and why they're working on what they're working on, levels unlock different pets, daily goals are tracked and represented instead of streaks and no feature really exists in isolation anymore.

For example, before, the amount of XP/level you had was just a number that went up, but now it can unlock a companion. Learning modalities, pets, and XP/levels all work together to reinforce learning and have users discover new things, and overall it just feels like a stronger personal tutor that grows and works with you.

I also went ahead and updated the pet models so they feel better animated and more unique.

2026-07-05T11:36:24Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqsg9pj94cdzprea5jn2tf85dplj87w4qqj4acjn4ptxj92qdd38wjszyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dwgx36c5 Happy 4th of July to my American friends from Mexico

Hope you enjoy the fireworks with friend or family 🤙
2026-07-05T04:03:42Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqsgd0kc38s58npdm3vq4es59tmpvk3mls4tdvl3nxsqj4wtt43glkszyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dw8dmlas The language learning app is getting there.
2026-07-02T08:57:32Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqs80kh3smnej2zyddmfv05xxwxdrmg076f4jvwhm89cmc7lmh45scqzyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dw3st9q4 In reply to nevent1q…c3j3
_________________________

Turns out that explore already does this.

I suppose since you’re working on refining for version 4, fine tuning the functional and visual hierarchy in the explore tab could be a good spot in general.

There’s potential to enhance the delight of it
2026-07-02T08:48:01Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqsv7rr0nj0zs3699vqw3y8l5zlvxawc673c0ex7r2kx43f7vxtt4uczyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dwakjzst In reply to nevent1q…2ppl
_________________________

App looks good and feels good to use, good job.

Some UX feedback after initial use - I think the explore icon should be a Magnifying Glass. This UI is pretty standard on social/communication platforms for search/explore. For a brief moment I felt some friction looking for the search.

Small detail but any time UIs are changed it’ll introduce some resistance and/or friction and it’s an easy win in that regard.

Another possibility is just making search a standalone feature and expanding “explore” to contain things like reads, maybe even a vetted Micro App Store. 2026-07-02T08:44:32Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqswgdr87zeru0ktqetrna8kthvtlnp5ac64v47vkppuhnhp080pz9czyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dwg5cdf4 Nostr really is a time capsule of the internet. But that gets multiplied into everything later.

Then in the world of interaction you find a lot of other first principles - imagination, motivation, curiosity. Education is a really emotional thing. 2026-05-29T19:07:46Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqsrhadfwd4mq83q64253fdrwd6w8xdufqve03qgdgwjrxkekx4eu8szyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dw658e9u The war with Iran reminds me of the Spanish-Chichemeca war.

It was a war that lasted decade after decade, where the Spanish campaigned a "war of fire and blood" against the semi-nomadic tribes that destabilized their trade networks and treasuries, only to fail in and realize the way to win was through peace negotiations with their allied native Tlaxcala delegation and investment into their world.

2026-05-29T15:44:56Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqsqmdx59z8nutz5fwrh0xv8x2jvx36yngp5xldq3fw84cruprx9swszyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dwqff4u6 In reply to nevent1q…79ec
_________________________

https://piyai.app =) 2026-05-29T15:44:29Z https://njump.cloud.vinney.xyz/nevent1qqs85f5huxwpkf0h2gletg8lgwryjvjyg69dluecmag6mxnpw022weczyz4jzmqy47mfpc82q62p2fecq8r0karfc2x73sgpuj0tqvwqpl3dwctws56 It’s actually kinda cool how my language learning app doesn’t require a screen now that the voice tutor is the main feature.

Like I can be washing dishes and learning some stuff.
