Obviously, attacking any Russian economic target helps with the war. About half of all Russian tax dollars go to the invasion. Wildberries warehouses are worth tens of billions of dollars, and being extremely flammable, are easy targets.

On top of this, Wildberries was a major logistics provider to the Russian military. They sold everything soldiers needed in large quantities, other than certain regulated stuff like guns, ammo, and explosives. They _did_ sell drones, weapons accessories, etc.

It's a very clever design: since these large AA guns are aimed by IR camera anyway, the simulator is simply be a tablet with an IMU and trigger switch. The IMU figures out where the gun is pointed, and the software simulates where the bullets would go if you had been shooting for real. The tablet itself just straps on in front of the screen the IR camera would be connected to.

_Far_ cheaper than a purpose built simulator. With the advantage that they can train while on position, whenever nothing is happening:

So many refineries in Russia have been hit that even Moscow is facing fuel rationing. Farming is beginning to get affected too: shortages and high prices are begining to stop farmers from planting fields, which hopefully will lead to food shortages in Russia.

The right way to describe this would be to say that 15% to 25% is turned into electricity, and the remainder of the 95% is turned into heat. That respects what's actually happening in an easy to understand way.

On a bigger scale, this is total nonsense. The biggest funders of war and violence right now are Russia and Iran. In both cases their ultimate primary funding source is oil and gas revenue; in the case of Russia a lesser funding source is the Russian government's ability to force companies to simply work for free in exchange for future promises of income that both sides know will probably never be paid. Fiat currency has nothing to do with that, and Bitcoin only fixes that problem to the extent that it allows societies to rise up.

But in Russia the population genuinely supports war. That's probably true for most of Iran too. They're infested with Islamic psychopaths.

Even if you think the US and other Western countries are the cause of "war", the argument still fails: the US only spends a small part of total GDP on their military. A Bitcoin standard doesn't change anything there.

I also managed to do some interviews with some of the soldiers and foreign recruits of the unit. Flash Battalion is an English speaking one, so mainly from the US and UK/Commonwealth.
