I run Hermes on my Umbrel. Super easy to install og decent security, as it runs in a sandboxed environment. I plan on migrating hermes to a dedicated machine though, as I am a little paranoid about the security aspect. But its an easy and reasonable secure way to start playing if you already have an umbrel server.

Yeah, I’m currently experimenting with those things. Have been running a umbrel node for a month now, great UX and a good starting point for fairly non-technical people like myself.
Self custodial lightning with running a node, managing channels/liquidity and everything is a bit intimidating. Been using phoenix wallet a lot though, pretty good self custody solution I think.

That’s right. But I’m just a little confused about this zapping thing. I’m able to zap people’s profiles but not individual posts. Do I have to activate the internal wallet on primal/damus to enable that? I really don’t like that the Primal wallet requires KYC, so probably not gonna do that..

Hey nostr! Can someone send a small zap to test my wallet? #plebchain

Hi,
Musician and bitcoiner from Norway here. I’m totally new to this nostr thing. Do you have some recommendations on where to start/what to do/who to follow in this decentralized universe? #introductions
