Talking on many of these topics is not cheap, especially with your face out there in the public.

It is only cheap if you are controlled opposition, and controlled actors tend to talk about Left vs Right theater (horizontal), and not vertical (people vs One World Government).

The idea is to convert as many people to our side as possible.

Why would these topics be so heavily censored if talking about them didn't matter.

And in all of your comments you assume that the current civilization is the most advanced.

Again, you assume to know how conditions have varied over time.

Mining pools such as MARA and F2Pool have already done “OFAC-compliant“ Bitcoin mining (transaction censorship).

It's quite simple:
- Bitcoin's mining "decentralization" lives or dies at the template layer, not at hashrate.
- As long as pools (not miners) pick transactions, the State can steer settlement via perimeter levers (power, banks, insurers, export controls, app-store rules, cloud/mempool policy).

At present, a regulator only needs to influence a few pool operators, not thousands of ASIC owners.

Does this sound decentralized or centralized.

I guess, your theory is that if censorship becomes too draconian, more mining pools will be formed and we'll have, say, 15 pools instead of 6-7 which would be more decentralized.

In theory, 15 pools would be more difficult to influence than 6-7, but would you rather have template control in the hands of thousands of ASIC owners (e.g. OCEAN-model pools), or 15 StratumV1 pools.

If it were that simple and miners were rational, not-state-controlled actors, you'd have way more than 2% of the hashrate using the OCEAN model.

The theory "if it gets bad, all participants will act in the best interest of the network because they are rational and incentivized to do so" already failed once a few weeks ago.

I guess your question is: "How did we get here?"

How did we get to the point where at the level that we can see, Jews control everything, have rewritten history, have probably invented most religions, have rewritten "science", and pretty much everything else.

And the answer is, I don't know.

1) We could just be farm animals in a simulation - basically the loosh energy theory.

Loosh energy refers to emotional or life-force energy generated from human experiences, particularly intense emotions like suffering, conflict, or worship, which some describe as being "harvested" by higher-dimensional beings.

So if the Creator of this place is a "computer programmer" of sorts, maybe this is just a very realistic simulation designed to harvest loosh energy.

2) Some form of "The Book of Enoch" could also be the case.

The Fall of Angels - the text describes the Watchers, a group of angels who descend to Earth and take human wives, leading to the birth of the Nephilim, hybrid beings that cause chaos and violence.

The Watchers also taught humanity forbidden knowledge, which led to widespread corruption and violence.

There are some theories that we are being ruled by the Watchers and the Nephilim (the offspring of these fallen angels).

3) It could also be a matter or who managed to survive the previous resets and preserve ancient knowledge/technology

If we assume that we are not the most advanced civilization in human history (which is a safe assumption IMO), imagine what advantage you'd have over ordinary plebs if you've managed to preserve pre-reset knowledge/technology.

Maybe things weren't going so great for the Controllers pre-reset, and they decided to wipe out the world (e.g. by use of Directed Energy Weapons).

If you had the technology and time and resources to plan, if executed cleanly, this would give you a massive advantage post-reset.

The current "Elites" seem to all be building bunkers for some reason. Could be to protect themselves from bombs, of course.

4) Our Controllers could also be beyond the Ice Wall

If you assume this Flat Earth map is roughly correct and there is an Ice Wall, our Controllers could be beyond the Ice Wall, so the Jews would be just the highest observable level.

It's kind of weird that all of the things that EVERY country on Earth agrees on have to do with enslaving the population - e.g. The Antarctic Treaty, fiat, vaccines.

The official narrative around the Antarctic Treaty (1959) makes no sense: 58 signatories, including the Soviet Union during the Cold War, so real hard cooperation in a rivalrous era.

As I've shown in this article ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/how-i-know-we-live-under-a-one-world ), we've lived under something very close to a One World Government for a long time.

But how does it actually work (at the level that we can see)?

At the level that we can see, the World is run by secret societies (it's really just 1 secret society with different names).

This was exposed in Italy with the Propaganda Due (P2) scandal. The lodge was originally formed in 1877 as Propaganda massonica. (More on this below)

They also blew the whistle (revelation of the method) with the TV series Prison Break.

"The Company" (= the Controllers) is the main antagonistic faction of Prison Break. It is a secret group of multinational corporate alliances known only by those who work for them or oppose them. Its influence and power over individuals stretches to the White House, controlling every decision the country makes.

The Company holds control over the government's sway on energy and the country's economy.

The Company is an international organization, so they have agendas and operations that they pursue all over the World. These include a 1995 incident in Berlin, a Nigeria incident, a Comrie Group incident, as well as several others.

"Scylla" is an external hard drive primarily located within The Company's main headquarters. The hard drive is said to hold reports and other personnel information on all of its current and former operatives.

Now let's step into the Real World - the Propaganda Due Masonic Lodge in Italy - as this model is replication in every country in the World.

Propaganda Due (P2) "was" one of the most controversial secret societies in modern European history.

Originally founded in Italy in 1877 as a private Masonic lodge, P2 later became associated with political manipulation, financial scandal, intelligence networks, organized crime, and some of the most disturbing events in post-war Italian history.

At first, P2 is alleged to have existed as a discreet Masonic lodge for members of the Italian parliament who wished to become Freemasons while keeping their membership hidden from the Roman Catholic Church.

By the late twentieth century, however, it had transformed into something far more dangerous: a secret network of businessmen, politicians, intelligence officials, financiers, military figures, and criminals running Italy.

P2 was part of the wider world of Italian Freemasonry, where political life, secrecy, and elite networking overlapped.

We start getting interesting info from around the late 1960s when P2 is under the leadership of the businessman Licio Gelli.

After Gelli's appointment as master in 1975, he was able to gather together in secret at least a thousand prominent individuals, mainly politicians and State administrators.

By 1981, when police seized P2's records, the scale of its influence shocked Italy. Its membership list reportedly included:
- 3 Italian cabinet ministers
- 43 members of the Italian parliament
- The heads of all Italy’s intelligence agencies
- Military officers
- Businessmen

- Financiers

- Prominent conservative figures

The discovery showed that P2 had practically run the state, including the security apparatus, and the country's finances.

P2 also run the highest levels of organized crime in Italy. Mafia-linked members included Michele Greco, rumoured to be the capo dei capi of Italy, and Michele Sindona, the lodge treasurer. Sindona was a wealthy financier who managed Mafia profits from the transatlantic heroin trade.

P2 had become the place where finance, politics, intelligence operations, and organized crime intersected.

I'm not breaking any news, but drug-trafficking (and child-trafficking) into the US (and pretty much any other country) is also State-run, and the State is Secret Society-run.

Propaganda Due (P2) also had a close relationship with the Vatican Bank.

Despite the Roman Catholic Church’s official ban on Masonic membership, Archbishop Paul Marcinkus, head of the Vatican Bank, became associated with P2. Michele Sindona and Roberto Calvi served as major financial advisers to the Vatican.

Calvi, together with Marcinkus, was accused of helping create hundreds of fictitious bank accounts through which Mafia drug money was laundered.

Pope Paul VI had placed a large portfolio of Vatican investments under Sindona’s control in 1969, a decision that reportedly cost the Vatican around $240 million in losses by 1975.

Organized religion is intended for control. You don't need middlemen to tell you what your relationship to the Creator is. You need to find it yourself.

Propaganda Due (P2) also had ties to terrorism. Its members staged at least one major terrorist attack: the bombing of Bologna railway station in 1980, which killed 85 people and wounded over 200.

The Bologna bombing remains one of the darkest events in modern Italian history.

P2 is also likely involved in the mysterious death of Pope John Paul I. The Pope had begun closely examining Vatican finances. On 28 September 1978, he reportedly announced his intention to remove Archbishop Marcinkus and three other Sindona protégés from the Vatican Bank.

The next morning, he was found dead.

No autopsy was performed, and allegations of suppressed or destroyed evidence have followed the case ever since. Officially, the death has not been proven to be murder.

The P2 scandal deepened further in 1982 with the collapse of Banco Ambrosiano, Italy’s largest private bank. Its head, Roberto Calvi, was closely connected to P2, the Vatican Bank, and the financial networks around Sindona and Gelli.

Banco Ambrosiano collapsed after being stripped of approximately $1.4 billion in assets.

The aftermath was marked by "mysterious" deaths.

Calvi was found hanging from Blackfriars Bridge in London. A coroner’s inquest initially called the death suicide, but his widow challenged that verdict. She presented evidence that Calvi had intended to reveal the names of those involved in P2's operations. The verdict was later changed to "cause of death unknown".

On the same day Calvi was found dead in London, his longtime secretary reportedly committed "suicide" by leaping from a window in the Banco Ambrosiano building.

The symbolism of Blackfriars Bridge also became part of the story. “Blackfriars” was interpreted by some as a possible reference to Freemasonry, adding another layer of mystery to Calvi’s death.

After the Banco Ambrosiano collapse, P2’s leading figures allegedly came under increasing pressure.

Licio Gelli (the Venerable Master of the Propaganda Due) lodge, vanished from a Swiss prison cell while being held for extradition. Michele Sindona died in a Milanese prison, claiming that he had been poisoned.

So Licio Gelli was arrested in Switzerland in 1982 for his role in the Banco Ambrosino scandal and the Bologna massacre but managed to escape from prison the next year.

He eventually agreed to surrender into the custody of Swiss authorities for a short period of time in 1987.

From 1996 until his death in 2015, Gelli remained in house arrest at his home in Arezzo (Italy).

Imaging murdering a bunch of people, collapsing Banco Ambrosiano in 1982 (a "black hole" of $1.4 billion), escaping from prison, etc., to get house arrest.

This model is replicated throughout the entire world.

For example, in Britain, the Fabian Society has supplied every Labour Prime minister in history. 141 of 411 Labour MPs are members. More than half the cabinet.

Freemasonry could mean "free masonry" - as in they acquired Old World buildings for free.

I'd say both SoV and MoE are important.

Storing the value part needs to be decentralized and secure, otherwise, we're just doing fiat 2.0.

I like the idea of the architecture (minimal L1), but the execution is terrible.

For the vast majority of users, Bitcoin's L2s are centralized, insecure, and fully KYC'ed . For the remaining small minority, they are extremely inconvenient.

So for most, L2s are similar to using a credit card (not real Bitcoin).

Adoption of real Bitcoin as MoE hasn't materialized because the UX isn't there, usage is taxed and inconvenient, and all of the drama that comes with constant external and internal attacks.

We got to the point where the Bitcoin community cannot widely agree on what Bitcoin is — is it money, is it arbitrary data storage, is it digital gold, a combination, something else.

Contrary to popular belief, Bitcoin is not "inevitable" and "invincible", it's extremely fragile.

Bitcoin’s survival and adoption depend on whether its most committed users can detect, coordinate, and counter inevitable policy, market, and social attacks.

This of course doesn't work when Bitcoin's most committed users can't agree on what Bitcoin is.

As I've said many times - I am not particularly bullish on any community, but I'd be more bullish on a community that has a single goal and some courage than a community that is pulling in ten different directions.

So effectively, we have a pride of lions, but half of them got convinced that they are gorillas, switched to a vegetarian diet and died.

Then the remaining lions got attacked by a different pride and got killed.

You might've been shocked by just how many people in the Bitcoin space are in favor of turning Bitcoin into arbitrary data storage, but if you map out the incentives, it all makes sense.

To understand the Bitcoin ecosystem, you first have to understand the Coordination tax ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/what-made-me-sell-most-of-my-bitcoin ).

The Coordination Tax — Three Stacked Systems

- S₀ Protocol: consensus rules, Proof-of-Work, 21M.
- S₁ Policy: relay/mempool defaults, mining templates, wallet behaviors.
- S₂ Perimeter: banks, clouds, app stores, ISPs, payment networks, tax law, PR.

Security: S₀ is math; S₁/S₂ are sociotechnical.
Tax: recurring human + legal + distribution cost to keep S₁/S₂ aligned with S₀'s ideals.

Attacker asymmetry: One cheap perimeter tweak (Acceptable Use Policy line, relay/mempool policy, bank heuristic, pool template) can shift millions. Defenders must hold all fronts, all the time.

1) Who really wins from "Bitcoin as arbitrary data storage"

They sit at the S₀/S₁ hinge:

Funding:
- Salaries from companies with economic exposure to fee markets, ordinals/L2s, infra monetization
- Grants from corporate/VC-aligned foundations

Career capital:
- Future jobs at L1/L2 startups, exchanges, "Bitcoin infra" companies
- Social capital in conferences / standards bodies

Incentives push toward:
- Making Bitcoin look more programmable, more general, less "boring cash chain"
- Avoiding any stance that looks like "censorship" or "limitation" → which could threaten future roles in broader crypto/tech

So the line:
- "If you pay the fee, there is no spam"
...is not a purely moral principle. It protects them from:
- Being accused of gatekeeping

- New casino features → more sponsorship deals (exchanges, NFT platforms, L2s)

They are rarely:
- Running full nodes
- Taking the legal risk of infrastructure
- Thinking through S₁/S₂ attack surfaces

So they amplify:
- "Bitcoin NFTs"
- "Taproot unleashed innovation"
- "If people want to inscribe anime, that's just demand"

Even if that makes Bitcoin-as-money weaker, they're making bank on the current hype wave.

1.3. Perimeter winners (S₂ – the real apex predators)

Here's where it gets sharp.

Once you normalize large arbitrary payloads on-chain, you:

Increase the probability that:
- CSAM appears
- Malware payloads appear
- Copyrighted / secret / classified material appears

Decrease the plausibility that:
- Node operators are "just neutral auditors"
- ISPs and clouds can host nodes without legal questions
- Politicians can ignore "illegal content on immutable chains" rhetoric

That gives S₂ actors:
(a) Regulators / law enforcement

Narrative ammunition:
- "Running a node = distributing illegal material"

(b) Cloud / infra providers

Acceptable-Use-Policy leverage:

- Cut off hobby / adversarial self-hosted nodes

2) How can this be so coordinated without a smoking gun?

I already told you how: it's the coordination tax vs attacker asymmetry.

Defenders (money-first, MoE crowd) need:
- Clear doctrine ("Bitcoin is money, not a blob store")
- Strong social cohesion
- Constant vigilance over every S₁/S₂ tweak

Attackers / exploiters / misaligned winners need:
- A compelling neutral-sounding narrative ("market will decide")
- A handful of influential devs and influencers
- A governance culture that treats inaction as "neutrality"

Then:
- Miners see higher fees → "good"
- VC/infra see new products → "good"
- Devs see ideology shield + employer satisfaction → "good"
- Influencers see new content/sponsorship streams → "good"
- Perimeter sees expanding legal surface → "good"

No one has to say "let's sabotage Bitcoin's monetary function."

They just never prioritize it when it conflicts with:
- Revenue
- Career capital
- Ideological comfort
- Regulatory leverage

That's emergent capture.

3) Why Core v30-type changes are particularly dangerous

Mechanically, with looser OP_RETURN policy and witness patterns:
- The cost (in dev time + sophistication) to embed problematic payloads falls
- The bandwidth and storage footprint for that garbage rises
- The plausible deniability of node operators and infra shrinks

Resulting effects:
1. Node centralization
- More resource requirements (disk, bandwidth, RAM)
- Cloud hosting becomes the default → easier to regulate
- Fewer hobby / adversarial nodes → surveillance easier

2. Legal wedge
- The probability that multiple jurisdictions challenge node legality goes up
- Precedent gets set in one place, exported everywhere via "global best practice"

3. Narrative inversion
- Before: "Killing Bitcoin would be politically costly."
- After: "Regulating unlicensed content distributors & unlicensed transmitters is public safety."

That is exactly how you turn a pure S₀ protocol into a S₂-governed commodity plumbing with minimal blowback.

4) Does this mean Bitcoin "fails as money"?

Yes, directionally, not instantly.

Path looks more like:

1. MoE path is gradually taxed and harassed
- Fees volatile and often high
- Self-custody more legally risky and UX-hostile
- On/off ramps heavily surveilled

2. SoV path is narrowed and paperized
- ETFs, trusts, notes, custodians = majority of flows
- Self-custody share stagnates or declines
- Regulatory capture of "good actors" (KYC wrappers) is complete

3. Monetary identity fragments
- No shared mission ("is it money / settlement / blobstore / NFT chain?")
- Any attempt at refocusing is framed as "censorship" or "maxi extremism"

Bitcoin continues to exist, may even appreciate a lot in fiat terms, but not as a serious mass MoE competitor to CBDCs/stables. It becomes:
- High-beta, tightly supervised, partially neutered digital gold with an ETF umbilical cord.

That's exactly the scenario I've been writing about: upside in fiat terms, but structurally contained as money.

Sadly, many devs are economically and career-wise entwined with the very interests that benefit from making Bitcoin weirder and more attackable.

You don't need to assume every Core dev is "captured". You only need to notice: their ideological purity on S₀/S₁ creates perfect leverage for S₂.

The coordination tax + incentive asymmetry I described is not paranoia; it's the correct model.

S₀ can stay mathematically pristine while S₁/S₂ steer Bitcoin away from being money and into being a tolerated, contained asset class.

5) Fragmented identity = attack surface, not strength

As I previously told you:
- If the Bitcoin community cannot agree on what Bitcoin is, then any change to the protocol is not an attack. You are just optimizing for the "arbitrary data storage" community instead of the Bitcoin-as-money community.

This is key.

Hard money needs a simple charter. For money to be robust, it benefits from:
- A simple shared story: "This is sound money, optimized to be cheap, robust, self-custodiable cash / reserve asset."
- Clear red lines: "We don't turn this into a generic compute/data substrate if it harms monetary function."

Instead, Bitcoin today has at least 4 overlapping tribes:
1. Sound money / MoE maximalists
2. Digital gold SoV-only crowd
3. Timechain / ordinals / data canvas crowd
4. Pure decentralization aesthetes ("if it pays the fee, it's fine")

When these tribes share the same S₀ but have different objectives, then:
Any proposed change is always:
- "an optimization for some group"
- and never clearly an "attack" agreed by all

So the argument becomes:
- "You don't own Bitcoin's purpose. If some people want to use it as a media store and pay more, that's just the market."

At S₀ this sounds "neutral". At S₁/S₂ it's a huge coordination failure:
- Node cost goes up.
- Legal risk goes up.
- Monetary utility goes down.
- Social energy is spent fighting about "what Bitcoin is" instead of defending S₁/S₂.

- Bitcoin's survival and adoption depend on whether its most committed users can detect, coordinate, and counter inevitable policy, market, and social attacks.

This is what I called the coordination tax:
- you spend scarce social/organizational bandwidth on internal civil war while the perimeter moves in.

No one needs to say "let's all wreck Bitcoin as money".

They just each follow their own incentive gradient, and the aggregate effect is:

But if you literally pull BIP39 words from a bag, that is not the clean BIP39 model.

BIP39 says the mnemonic is meant to transport generated entropy, not to process user-created sentences, and the mnemonic includes checksum structure.

A truly random off-box seed makes you safer against compromised RNG, but it does not make the setup trustworthy unless you also solve independent verification.

You can still get compromised with address substitution at receive time, and later spending is a separate danger zone (a compromised signer can leak through nonce selection), etc.

And air-gapped only blocks ordinary network exfiltration. It does not stop a compromised box from storing secrets locally for later extraction.

So the minimum hardening move is:

Because the path of least resistance is: paperization + perimeter control. That means other people's choices (custody ETFs, policy clients, protocol-bloat, KYC defaults) directly degrade your outcomes — just like bad drivers raise your accident risk and premiums even if you drive perfectly.

If they were told to stack gold, it indicates that the Controllers want to direct capital away from Bitcoin and toward gold right now.

Central banks + Tether + various sovereigns = strong revealed preference.

The other buyer in size of BTC (MSTR) also got disciplined very heavily (from margin increases to unrealized capital gains tax fud to index removal fud, to S&P 500 rejection, etc.) at a time when MSTR had an mNAV of about 2 (meaning they could issue shares to stack lots of Bitcoin in an accretive way).

So they basically implicitly told institutions: "stay away from Bitcoin, buy gold".

Bitcoin's current value proposition is a store of value with regulatory overhang and a Great Taking hedge.

Unless Bitcoin is private by default (no special mode), I don't see a scenario in which Bitcoin's value proposition becomes mass, non-custodial Medium-of-Exchange.

Which basically means that we have to hope that the Controllers allow for Bitcoin to go up in fiat terms and remains a store-of-value, so that they don't alienate the masses into Monero, physical alternatives, etc.

So far it hasn't worked in the post-ETF era and I have a feeling that we have a wave of Quantum FUD on the horizon, but what can you do.

If you get this cucked, you kinda have to wait for your turn or take a stand and there are too many simultaneous attacks for the community to coordinate a coherent response (coordination tax).

When governments capture "error assets" such as Bitcoin, they use the "Honeymoon → Normalization → Harvest" playbook because the plebs always fall for it.

New financial tech follows the same arc: big sweeteners at launch, normalization once everyone is on board, and then the quiet fee/tax/regulation harvest.

In other words, you pay people with higher fiat prieces whilst you paperize and capture so that they associate regulation with "winning".

The incentives flip as soon as enough users are corralled.

Bitcoin's honeymoon phase was very short (mostly pre-ETF) which indicates to me that they already know they have us by the balls, so they didn't have to pull out the big sweeteners.

Now is a good time to reflect — how did we get here? How did we get to the point where the Bitcoin community cannot widely agree on what Bitcoin is — is it money, is it arbitrary data storage, a combination, something else.

If the Bitcoin community cannot agree on what Bitcoin is, then any change to the protocol is not an attack. You are just optimizing for the "arbitrary data storage" community instead of the Bitcoin as money community.

As I wrote, in my last article: "I am not particularly bullish on any community, but I’d be more bullish on a community that has a single goal and some courage than a community that is pulling in ten different directions."

How did incentives align for the arbitrary data storage crowd to be so successful?

What is the incentive map? Who are the real winners of "Bitcoin as random data substrate"?

You might've been shocked by just how many people in the Bitcoin space are in favor of turning Bitcoin into arbitrary data storage, but if you map out the incentives, it all makes sense.

To understand the Bitcoin ecosystem, you first have to understand the Coordination tax ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/what-made-me-sell-most-of-my-bitcoin ).

The Coordination Tax — Three Stacked Systems

- S₀ Protocol: consensus rules, Proof-of-Work, 21M.
- S₁ Policy: relay/mempool defaults, mining templates, wallet behaviors.
- S₂ Perimeter: banks, clouds, app stores, ISPs, payment networks, tax law, PR.

Security: S₀ is math; S₁/S₂ are sociotechnical.
Tax: recurring human + legal + distribution cost to keep S₁/S₂ aligned with S₀'s ideals.

Attacker asymmetry: One cheap perimeter tweak (Acceptable Use Policy line, relay/mempool policy, bank heuristic, pool template) can shift millions. Defenders must hold all fronts, all the time.

1) Who really wins from "Bitcoin as arbitrary data storage"

1.1. Direct economic / career winners

(a) Miners (short-term fee maximizers)

They get:
- Higher average feerates when inscriptions/ordinals spam appear
- A "fee market maturing" narrative to backfill halvings

They do not price in:
- Long-term node attrition
- Legal attack surface (CSAM, malware blobs, etc.)
- MoE utility loss (not their P&L line item)

So miners are structurally biased toward:
- "If it pays the fee, it's good."

Even if that trades long-run decentralization and legal safety for short-run revenue.

(b) Exchanges, custodians, and structured-product shops

Ordinals, tokens-on-BTC, inscriptions = new casino SKUs:
- More trading pairs
- Higher churn, higher spreads, higher fee income

They also love:
- Arbitrary data narrative → ETF / custodian "clean, non-tainted BTC" premium ("let us deal with the messy chain, you just buy exposure")

They win when:
- Running a full node gets more complex / risky
- Self-custody looks scary / legally exposed
- People are nudged to use custodial wallets and ETFs instead

(c) VC-funded protocol / infra companies

Ordinals/NFT infra, L2s, indexing services, inscription explorers, marketplace APIs, "data on Bitcoin" startups:
- Need sustained demand for non-monetary blockspace
- Need the narrative that Bitcoin is not just money, but a base for rich "use cases"

Many Core-adjacent devs:
- Work for, or receive grants from, these entities
- Build tools that assume arbitrary-data use is legitimate and permanent

So dev + VC + product is one economic cluster, not separate.

(d) Core / Core-adjacent devs (funded & entangled)

They sit at the S₀/S₁ hinge:

Funding:
- Salaries from companies with economic exposure to fee markets, ordinals/L2s, infra monetization
- Grants from corporate/VC-aligned foundations

Career capital:
- Future jobs at L1/L2 startups, exchanges, "Bitcoin infra" companies
- Social capital in conferences / standards bodies

Incentives push toward:
- Making Bitcoin look more programmable, more general, less "boring cash chain"
- Avoiding any stance that looks like "censorship" or "limitation" → which could threaten future roles in broader crypto/tech

So the line:
- "If you pay the fee, there is no spam"
...is not a purely moral principle. It protects them from:
- Being accused of gatekeeping
- Legal responsibility for content
- Alienating VC/infra employers who want maximal "optionality" on future use cases

1.2. Status / narrative winners (who win by redefining Bitcoin's "purpose")

(a) Thought-leader devs (“protocol neutrality priests”)

Psychological incentive:
- Be the arbiter of purity: "we don't judge content; we only judge consensus validity"
- This role is high status, especially among non-technical Bitcoiners who can't audit the code but trust the persona

Social incentive:
- You get to ostracize critics as "toxic maxis", "backward", or "anti-innovation"
- You create a culture where questioning arbitrary-data policy = taboo

This keeps the Overton window narrowed around:
- "Free market + neutrality = good. Any resistance is censorship and centralization."

Which conveniently sidelines the "Bitcoin is money first" crowd.

(b) Influencers, educators, podcast grifters

They live on:
- New narratives → more engagement
- New casino features → more sponsorship deals (exchanges, NFT platforms, L2s)

They are rarely:
- Running full nodes
- Taking the legal risk of infrastructure
- Thinking through S₁/S₂ attack surfaces

So they amplify:
- "Bitcoin NFTs"
- "Taproot unleashed innovation"
- "If people want to inscribe anime, that's just demand"

Even if that makes Bitcoin-as-money weaker, they're making bank on the current hype wave.

1.3. Perimeter winners (S₂ – the real apex predators)

Here's where it gets sharp.

Once you normalize large arbitrary payloads on-chain, you:

Increase the probability that:
- CSAM appears
- Malware payloads appear
- Copyrighted / secret / classified material appears

Decrease the plausibility that:
- Node operators are "just neutral auditors"
- ISPs and clouds can host nodes without legal questions
- Politicians can ignore "illegal content on immutable chains" rhetoric

That gives S₂ actors:
(a) Regulators / law enforcement

Narrative ammunition:
- "Running a node = distributing illegal material"
- "Relaying unlicensed money transmission + contraband data"

Policy levers:
- Licensing for node operators
- Mandatory filters / whitelists / content scanning
- Heavy penalties for infra providers who host "non-compliant" nodes

(b) Cloud / infra providers

Acceptable-Use-Policy leverage:
- "No illegal content stored or relayed on our infra" becomes the clause that justifies mass deplatforming

Business pivot:
- Host only "licensed" nodes (custodians, ETFs, banks)
- Cut off hobby / adversarial self-hosted nodes

(c) Custodians / ETFs / KYC rails

Sales pitch:
- "Self-custody = legal and operational minefield. Let us handle the dirty chain; you just buy clean exposure through us."

Outcome:
- Paperization accelerates
- Price discovery moves further off-chain
- Self-custody shrinks to a niche "problem segment" that's easy to demonize

So S₁ ideological "neutrality" plus S₀ permissionless blockspace becomes, in practice, the perfect S₂ excuse for containment.

2) How can this be so coordinated without a smoking gun?

I already told you how: it's the coordination tax vs attacker asymmetry.

Defenders (money-first, MoE crowd) need:
- Clear doctrine ("Bitcoin is money, not a blob store")
- Strong social cohesion
- Constant vigilance over every S₁/S₂ tweak

Attackers / exploiters / misaligned winners need:
- A compelling neutral-sounding narrative ("market will decide")
- A handful of influential devs and influencers
- A governance culture that treats inaction as "neutrality"

Then:
- Miners see higher fees → "good"
- VC/infra see new products → "good"
- Devs see ideology shield + employer satisfaction → "good"
- Influencers see new content/sponsorship streams → "good"
- Perimeter sees expanding legal surface → "good"

No one has to say "let's sabotage Bitcoin's monetary function."

They just never prioritize it when it conflicts with:
- Revenue
- Career capital
- Ideological comfort
- Regulatory leverage

That's emergent capture.

3) Why Core v30-type changes are particularly dangerous

I've already written about this here ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/how-bitcoins-developers-are-attacking-2a5 ) but I'll give you a TL;DR.

Mechanically, with looser OP_RETURN policy and witness patterns:
- The cost (in dev time + sophistication) to embed problematic payloads falls
- The bandwidth and storage footprint for that garbage rises
- The plausible deniability of node operators and infra shrinks

Resulting effects:
1. Node centralization
- More resource requirements (disk, bandwidth, RAM)
- Cloud hosting becomes the default → easier to regulate
- Fewer hobby / adversarial nodes → surveillance easier

2. Legal wedge
- The probability that multiple jurisdictions challenge node legality goes up
- Precedent gets set in one place, exported everywhere via "global best practice"

3. Narrative inversion
- Before: "Killing Bitcoin would be politically costly."
- After: "Regulating unlicensed content distributors & unlicensed transmitters is public safety."

That is exactly how you turn a pure S₀ protocol into a S₂-governed commodity plumbing with minimal blowback.

4) Does this mean Bitcoin "fails as money"?

Yes, directionally, not instantly.

Path looks more like:

1. MoE path is gradually taxed and harassed
- Fees volatile and often high
- Self-custody more legally risky and UX-hostile
- On/off ramps heavily surveilled

2. SoV path is narrowed and paperized
- ETFs, trusts, notes, custodians = majority of flows
- Self-custody share stagnates or declines

- No shared mission ("is it money / settlement / blobstore / NFT chain?")
- Any attempt at refocusing is framed as "censorship" or "maxi extremism"

Bitcoin continues to exist, may even appreciate a lot in fiat terms, but not as a serious mass MoE competitor to CBDCs/stables. It becomes:
- High-beta, tightly supervised, partially neutered digital gold with an ETF umbilical cord.

That's exactly the scenario I've been writing about: upside in fiat terms, but structurally contained as money.

Sadly, many devs are economically and career-wise entwined with the very interests that benefit from making Bitcoin weirder and more attackable.

You don't need to assume every Core dev is "captured". You only need to notice: their ideological purity on S₀/S₁ creates perfect leverage for S₂.

The coordination tax + incentive asymmetry I described is not paranoia; it's the correct model.

S₀ can stay mathematically pristine while S₁/S₂ steer Bitcoin away from being money and into being a tolerated, contained asset class.

5) Fragmented identity = attack surface, not strength

As I previously told you:
- If the Bitcoin community cannot agree on what Bitcoin is, then any change to the protocol is not an attack. You are just optimizing for the "arbitrary data storage" community instead of the Bitcoin-as-money community.

This is key.

Hard money needs a simple charter. For money to be robust, it benefits from:
- A simple shared story: "This is sound money, optimized to be cheap, robust, self-custodiable cash / reserve asset."
- Clear red lines: "We don't turn this into a generic compute/data substrate if it harms monetary function."

Instead, Bitcoin today has at least 4 overlapping tribes:
1. Sound money / MoE maximalists
2. Digital gold SoV-only crowd
3. Timechain / ordinals / data canvas crowd
4. Pure decentralization aesthetes ("if it pays the fee, it's fine")

When these tribes share the same S₀ but have different objectives, then:
Any proposed change is always:
- "an optimization for some group"
- and never clearly an "attack" agreed by all

So the argument becomes:
- "You don't own Bitcoin's purpose. If some people want to use it as a media store and pay more, that's just the market."

At S₀ this sounds "neutral". At S₁/S₂ it's a huge coordination failure:
- Node cost goes up.
- Legal risk goes up.
- Monetary utility goes down.
- Social energy is spent fighting about "what Bitcoin is" instead of defending S₁/S₂.

- Bitcoin's survival and adoption depend on whether its most committed users can detect, coordinate, and counter inevitable policy, market, and social attacks.

This is what I called the coordination tax:
- you spend scarce social/organizational bandwidth on internal civil war while the perimeter moves in.

No one needs to say "let's all wreck Bitcoin as money".

They just each follow their own incentive gradient, and the aggregate effect is:
- 'Bitcoin is increasingly a supervised, high-friction asset with ambiguous purpose, best consumed as paper exposure."

That's the S₀ vs S₁/S₂ mismatch.

Recall:
- S₀ Protocol = math, PoW, 21M, consensus rules.
- S₁ Policy = mempool defaults, relay policies, miner templates, wallet UX.
- S₂ Perimeter = banks, clouds, app stores, ISPs, payment networks, tax law, PR.

Right now, you roughly have:
- S₀: still robust, sound, conservative.

- S₁: being "opened" in ways that:
* prefer arbitrary data (witness discount, OP_RETURN policy changes, tolerant relay)
* emphasize "market neutrality" over monetary function

- S₂: slowly moving toward:
* treating nodes/wallets as regulated endpoints
* pushing users toward custodial/KYC interfaces
* framing self-hosted infrastructure as risk vectors

Coordination tax shows up as:
- Defenders needing unanimity and constant vigilance to say "no" at S₁.
- Attackers (or just misaligned incentives) needing only a simple majority + a narrative like "we're just letting markets decide".

S₀ can be perfectly sound while S₁ and S₂ gently steer the whole thing into a neutered, supervised role.

The coordination tax + incentive asymmetry make it very hard for Bitcoin to remain a credible, mass medium of exchange in the face of CBDCs + regulated stables.

The direction of travel is:
- MoE suppressed,
- SoV tolerated (especially via paper),
- self-custody increasingly path-of-most-resistance.

Bitcoin's ceiling as a civilizational MoE is being capped, not because S₀ is broken, but because S₁/S₂ are being steered.

Bitcoin's MoE path is being quietly taxed to death, while its SoV path is being slowly paperized and supervised. S₀ remains mathematically pure; S₁/S₂ do the containment.

Am I too pessimistic? I don't think I am.

I am just applying incentives > ideals to S₁/S₂ while most of the space stares only at S₀ and quotes the whitepaper.

Every revolution starts with a tax revolt.

The only leverage citizens hold over their politicians is that they can reject their fake, fiat money and essentially reject slavery.

Not a single politician gives a flying fuck about your protest unless you threaten to/or stop paying taxes and/or reject their currency that they can print out of thin air for free.

Every other form of protesting your government is fake, gay and destined to fail.
