Bitcoin is money. Pure and simple.

quoting
nevent1q…ml4z
Bitcoin maximalist falsehood #2: “Never sell your Bitcoin.”

Bitcoin is money. Holding $100 worth of Bitcoin may support scarcity, but it does little to establish Bitcoin as a medium of exchange or unit of account.

If that same $100 changes hands ten times within a circular economy, it settles $1,000 of trade. Each time, someone’s labour, time, goods or energy is valued in Bitcoin rather than fiat.

There is a difference between abandoning Bitcoin for fiat and circulating Bitcoin as money. A real Bitcoin economy requires people to earn it, spend it, accept it and price goods in it.

You cannot build a monetary system by treating the money as too sacred to use.

Note that most of the guys involved with promoting funding and running the Red Team were best buddies with NVGay and enabled his behavior for damn near a decade.

But the Orange Z List Celebrities will keep on white washing and the sad thing is most of yall are pussy ass bootlickers and will let it happen.

A lot of so called "bitcoiners" prefer to be paid in fiat. It shows.

How do you expect them to "stay humble and stack sats"? Circular economy with a handful of bitcoiners may not go nowhere if said users think fiat > sats.

chama (nprofile…t085) is offering those users a different alternative: Pay a bitcoiner's bill, and simply get paid immediately by the protocol so you can stack for yourself. It's so simple you'll think it's insane.

2026-07-11T16:00:03Z

A P2P marketplace where anyone, anywhere trades Bitcoin for local money — M-Pesa, bank transfer, cash in hand. No KYC, no custodian, no company in the middle. Built on Nostr for identity and chat, Fedimint for ecash, Lightning for funding.

And with v5.0 "Finish the Bond", trust itself became verifiable: anyone can lock real Bitcoin on-chain as a commitment bond and become a community-verified arbiter. Disputes settled by people with skin in the game — a UTXO anyone can check, not a support ticket.

Underneath: crash-safe locking, payout journaling, loss-proof trade history.

Your sats are recoverable at every step.

Trade money like neighbors, secured like #Bitcoin.

hi, after two years of posting weekly i have decided to take a break.

i want to focus on decentralizing btc isla (the actual circular economy) and im going to rebrand this channel to Be Ultimate.

i want to share my journey on being the best version of myself in hope to inspire you to do the same. and since all roads lead to bitcoin, freedom money will always be part of the story.

ever since the bitcoin circular economy started, we have had the privilege to welcome thousands of bitcoiners to the island. and most that have been part of our story, have left with a fire inside them to change their lives. that is what i want to achieve with my next chapter.

i will still be using this channel, i want you to continue to be part of my journey. so, i ask for you to wait for me when i come back.

i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart all the way to the top for joining every friday since 2024.

you have become my muse, my fuel and part of my life. i hope you have enjoyed my videos as my as i liked making them. but imma be real, putting out a weekly show at that production is exhausting. since i never took a week off, i realized it affected my drive. part of life is knowing when to take a break.

so, this is NOT a goodbye. its a wait for me because ill be back soon. :)

2026-06-26T16:15:21Z

🎉 It happened. The first real trade just settled on Chama. 🧡

A buyer and a seller who didn't have to trust each other — 17,092 sats for a service, moved end to end: reserved → locked → claimed → settled, landing clean with the seller. No bank touched it. No company held it. No KYC, no signup funnel, no server sitting on anyone's balance.

What made it work is the whole thesis in one trade:

— The Trinity Ring held. The seller locked the sats, the buyer claimed them, and an arbiter stood ready to break a tie that never came. When the ring is whole, the trade is whole.
— The sats only ever lived inside the escrow. The second it settled, the local wallet went back to zero. Chama is a coordinator, not a wallet — nothing left lying around to freeze, hack, or lose. Never lost a sat, never sent one twice.
— And a rating went in. Reputation is the backbone here: every completed trade earns the trust that unlocks the next one. Authority isn't granted, it's earned — one honest trade at a time.

This is one trade. But it's the proof: real bitcoin, real people, no middleman, settled in minutes.

Whatever you need — buy something, sell a service, swap fiat, lend, or just pay a neighbor's bill to earn your very first sats — your community is already there.

🗣️ A peer-to-peer Bitcoin trade just settled to M-Pesa in Kenya — in minutes, with no custodian touching the cash.

Buyer earned sats in escrow, tapped once, and Kenyan shillings landed in their M-Pesa. No bank, no middleman, no app-to-app dance. Bitcoin rails reaching all the way to local money.

That's Chama v4.0.0 — a local-money marketplace on Fedimint ecash, Lightning, and Nostr. Your identity is your key. Your trades are escrowed by community arbiters. Chama never holds your fiat or your sats.

The cash-out is pure LUD-16: your sats pay a Lightning Address, mobile money lands. No custom integration — which is why any wallet, any market can do this. We just did it first, to M-Pesa, today.

I have one issue with my Nextcloud service which may cause me to redo the migration. I'm evaluating my options but other than that, honestly, it was flawless. It's really fantastic and I can't wait to use StartTunnel on a VPS! Or even better, to play around with StartBot!

I find myself teaching AI about new things it doesn't know, and I'm VERY intentional.

My only problem is, I need my own competent AI working for me.
