Testing my own media uploader.
We live in incredible times.
🥂
Sell crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here, lol.
Setup Yuvomi on my Umbrel yesterday for a self-hosted family calendar with chores/tasks for the kids.
Tonight I set it up so they get points for doing chores (rewards). Those points can then be "redeemed" for sats. They do a task, then they go to the calendar and mark it completed. Once my wife or I "approve" the completed task, they are paid instantly over lightning using our AlbyHub.
Tested and it works amazingly well.
It's so nice that Square is rolling out bitcoin payments so aggressively, because now my kids can spend their sats on items they want. There's two sandwich shops and a burger/shake spot that now accept bitcoin near us. My kids can earn and actually spend their sats.
Bitcoin is money. Use it.

Made scones a few weeks ago that turned out fantastic, so I had Claude create a file so I could import it into my Mealie app. I've made them two other times since and they both were huge failures. This morning I was trying again and it was still failing so I screenshot the recipe into Claude and it realized that it had done five times the amount of sugar for my import.
I thought it was off, lol.
Stupid clanker.
Don't trust.
Verify.
Playing around with my clanker making my own node wallet interface so I can interact with the wallet created on my node. Fun project.

Having my clankers create a learning guitar app for my daughter.... Always fun exploring.
Here's a non YouTube link, too.

Using bitcoin core to create 'mywallet' then using my clanker to write my own, small, "node wallet" so I can limit the trust needed to interact with my wallet on my node. Good idea?
Can't stop blasting this Hobo Johnson style banger.
Crank it up.

Everyone thinks they can time the exit until they can't.
That's actually not weird at all. Women do most of these things for other women. Men don't care.

This makes zero sense. Nice AI. 😂
Very cool idea if you don't want to buy a "food truck", considering there's probably a bunch of these around that aren't very good campers, anymore.
Love the ingenuity.

Remove bitcoin? Nope still there for me.
@nprofile…qvle maybe you can help this guy out?
Private keys or seed phrase?
Created a bitcoin wallet using bitcoin core and Linux terminal. Pretty fun stuff.
That post wasn't there when I took this screenshot. Figured as much, though.
They gave me 5% back because I paid for lunch using bitcoin the other day. I'll take it!

He's an inspiration.
Yes, primarily bought it for supplemental heat. We live at 8000 feet in the Wasatch and usually burn 6-7 cords of wood every winter. Last year we bought a Q rather than firewood. Only used 2 cords and ran the Q all winter in super mode. The wife actually enjoyed the light fan noise and we ended up running it November -April and a little in May on colder mornings. We're going to grab one more for this winter. It was so nice to not have to get up and start a fire. We didn't really pay attention to power usage because we have to pay for heat one way or another. I used the f2pool mining that came with it. Easy to setup. We mined 770k sats, burned less wood and had a happy wife and kids. Zero downside. A second one will make it downright nice, IMO.
Also, seems like more of a serious mining machine rather than an aesthetically pleasing looking heater. I wanted more bang for my buck.
Proof of work.

After researching I decided an Avalon Q was the better choice for me.
Happy.

Thought I'd share, although you probably have a better source.
Shipping is $15, though there might be a threshold for free. I inquired about bitcoin payments last year, so maybe if we both ask.... 😂 Can always hope.
