'It's for teeth, now shush'
ai fixes dependency hell. by removing the dependencies.
I remember questioning it in science class in secondary school when I was around 14 or 15 and none of the answers for putting it in the water seemed reasonable to me - I was told to shut up.
Well then check it out and tell me what you think about it!

I've noticed as well that very wealthy people don't drink tap water, they either drink bottled water, or at the very least filter it.
Just anecdotal, but there you are.

Wise words 🙌❣️🎶 Music has the power to be way more than just entertainment. Everything we're going through in life is a lesson. Thank YOU for adding so much value to this space, Sir
For real though, what the fuck is Flouride doing in the water.
If the argument is that 'some people have bad teeth' that's a fucking shit argument for force medicating everyone else who doesn't have shit teeth.
They are doing the same fucking bullshit now with flour, putting folic acid in it. Cunt, if I wanted folic acid, I'd fucking buy some folic acid, I want flour.
Force medication for 'the common good' is an argument that is very much in line with the 'vaccine' madness as well now that I think about it, perhaps the fluoride stuff was somewhat of a 'missing link' to get people used to the idea.

New routstrd release!
Update with 'routstrd update'. Latest version: 0.4.17
With this version, you can use both "rout" or "routstrd" as your cli command. We agree, routstrd is hard to type 🥲
The AI space moves at lightning ⚡️ speed. Harnesses change how they work, and inference providers keep changing their caching behaviour and API formats. So stay current with the latest releases :).
What's new:
1. Mismatched model IDs are handled for you. If a node misconfigures one, the client handles it transparently via Nostr events (38426).
Nodes will inevitably advertise models under IDs nobody agreed on. Instead of those models missing your ranking algorithm, the client fetches mapping events from Nostr and takes care of it. So you get more upstreams and better prices.
2. TUI time filters and charts. The TUI now shows data filtered by time period, with charts.
3. Sandbox label for unverified nodes. Try nodes we haven't verified with 'routstrd providers enable sandbox'. Be careful though.
4. Vendor-specific APIs for Pi and OpenCode. Far better cache hit rates and more upstream coverage.
5. Better Lightning mint/melt recovery, with more wallet cleanup and recovery buttons and commands. Ask your agent to explore the wallet commands if you hit issues.
6. NWC refills are rock solid now. We lean on them more and more internally.
7. Reminder: cache hits are shown in the Recent tab. Found a bad upstream? Tag us and let us know :).
8. Per-model cooldowns. 'routstrd cooldowns' lists what's cooling down; 'routstrd cooldowns --reset' clears it.
9. Model bootstrap is 10x faster now, 150s (in some cases) to 10-15s.
10. Update notifications. While you're doing routine things — receive, balance, and friends routstrd will now tell you, for example:
`A new routstrd version is available (v0.4.16 → v0.4.17). Run 'routstrd update' to update.`

They eat ticks? Hmm , that does go a little way's towards earning a keep. What diseases they spreading though? They look like vermin to me.
What are your apps?
Did you read my answer to the anti-Google sentiment above?
I should have phrased 5 more like an argument (because liking Amber is not an argument against supporting an alternative, I like Amber myself too!), because perhaps people who say that in fact want to say something like:
"I think every person should have a phone with Amber installed and only use Nostr apps from that phone and the absolute requirement for ever thinking about using Nostr is that you have to first install Zapstore then Amber and promise you'll never uninstall that, never lose your phone to someone that will steal your key, and that you'll keep a paper or steel backup of your nsec at home at all times."
If you are using @nprofile…wfft while streaming. I suggest you use rizful or a different one for now.
Wallet of satoshi is transitioning everyone to a self-custody wallet and there is lots of issues with the wallet self-custody right now.
I'm having issues getting payments and sending. It seems to be failing quite often. It was an amazing wallet for many years never bad issue. I'm not too worried tho. I have faith they will fix those issues in the future. Transitioning everyone is a massive job too. Props to their team.

Are you saying that some people decide to fund and encourage stupid projects that waste millions of hours of time of thousands of people who could otherwise be working in actual competitors to these incumbents?
That makes a lot of sense and I believe this stuff happens indeed, but I was trying to think of an example of this when I realized it would lead to the conclusion that Nostr itself is a psyop.
I’m not sure if this also covers the case where users add a `,` right after a URL. I’ll test it when I get a chance. Thanks for the report!

I'm thinking Napplets...
LFL moved all the hosted instances to a domain called zap parti. Mine wasn't moved because I provided them with my own domain. I want to part of this so called Zap Parti. It's sounds funny.

I told a big story and forgot to elaborate on the exact point you had asked, so here it is:
if these new inventions have such obvious flaws that make them impossible to scale to a billion users, why haven't their own inventors realize it?
For a long time I thought they were just not seeing the issues, but after some experiences I observed I changed my answer.
Now I think they are not really thinking about changing anything, they just want to see their pet project running, and they are happy if it runs with a few thousand users and they're idolized by some of them. I don't really understand it and can't imagine the feeling myself, because to me the technology or protocol or whatever is really just the means to what I consider a higher end, but to these people I think the technology itself is the end. This perspective is what I was calling "unserious".
This page is cool! I made the top 100! I'm number 92 on the list. I'm going to have to start zapping bigger amounts to move up on the list.
I'm not sure how it's calculated. I think it's calculated from zapping the official amethyst npub. It says I zapped 57,807 sats. I actually don't remember zapping that much. I was surprised. I thought I was around 10k to 20k sats.

People making new apps, why aren't you adding Pomegranate support?
1) I didn't know it existed (now you know);
2) I think it has a fatal flaw (please say what is it);
3) I am phisophically opposed to Google (Pomegranate supports other providers, and even no providers at all, it can even be made to support phone numbers, a single password, an email, a set of friends' keys, you name it, but none of that is active yet because there is not enough interest);
4) I think users have to be trained to type private keys everywhere;
5) I like Amber (I've heard this one before so I included it here even though it makes no sense).

Mom just sent me a picture of her with Aaron Nola (Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher). Bumped into him out in the wild doing normal local people things.
I understand what you're saying and linking accounts sounds like a solution to this.
But, honestly, Pomegranate solves this already in a much more elegant and better way that doesn't come with death-inflicting tradeoffs: #nevent1q…nwp6
Probably going to do it, but the same pillows direct from TempurPedic are like $65 bogo lol

What is a website? We should start with this deeply philosophical question.
Just kidding, but really. By "website" I was talking merely about the fact that each website has an owner (or dare I say a "webmaster") and that owner decides what content it hosts, who can write to it etc.
I was not at all talking about having some fancy UI for publishing or reading content, that is the job of clients already and perhaps the essence of what makes Nostr different (and why relays are not exactly websites, that was just an analogy): that it allows clients to be fully independent from servers and vice-versa. See also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO2dHp-uluo for more discussion around this.
All relays are like that, by the way, all relays have rules, the difference is that the most popular ones are very liberal in their rules: they basically accept anything from anyone with almost no ratelimits even.
