I haven’t paid much attention. He seems like someone who I would not want to know. Narcissistic. He’s succeeded as a politician about as well as someone can in the dysfunctional one-party state of California. That might night translate to the rest of the country, anymore on than Kamala Harris did. He has a sharp social media wit, which is mostly what matters these days. If it was between Vance and Newsome, I’d probably vote for Newsome, mostly to bury the Trump era and because he has executive experience. Beyond that, meh.
