Monero used properly (payments) isn't a shitcoin. Anyone actually trying to live on this stuff gets it. Last I checked most KYC exchanges will let you buy all kinds of bullshit but not monero...
LN in small amounts on a custodian isn't the end of the world especially given how accessible they are which is important for the person who's receiving there first 10,000 sats
I still love ecash even if mints have rug potential - I use several mints and amounts are low (willing to lose)
Self custody monero is a plus but much less merchant acceptance and limited wallets hurts (from what I've seen)
