Derek Ross (nprofile…9kky) has given me a bunch more reason to stare at my phone way too much, at least for awhile, by putting Omalauncher ( https://github.com/SimonSchubert/omalauncher ) in front of my face.
This is pretty sweet, especially for someone who inadvertently got an OEM locked phone and can't install Graphene (though it works just fine on Graphene too).
So easy to make use of the agentic AI that I accidentally created a widget last night, using Laguna S 2.1 (free) to replace the search bar that the stock Android launcher has.
Didn't realize how much I needed a koi pond on my home screen. Or a terminal (though I had an inkling).
Also works in landscape mode 🤯.
I do ALMOST wish it pulled my icons over from my stock launcher because I'm taking quite awhile to pull those onto the screen but it's absolutely worth it. I probably didn't need them all on the main screen anyway. I'm just realizing I don't know some of the app names so much as their location/icon 😃.
