I totally get that. I have a very similar experience. The biggest impact I’m finding is definitely personal. However I am very close though to being able to put a price tag on how using AI has helped reduce the cost of a previous software as a service application. My ChatGPT/Codex plus subscription is about to save the business that my wife and I own and operate close to $5000 annually. From my perspective this is a big deal! And on top of that if I think creatively it is just the beginning. To be honest though as I mix and mingle in my little corner of the world I am not hearing any stories of how AI is financially impacting peoples lives in a positive way, yet, either in a business setting or personally. Maybe I am early?
Most of my recent personal experimentation has been with a personal agent based on an OpenClaw architecture. It’s been fascinating! I have bought into the thesis that the most important AI is the one that is in between you and the big massive companies. Not sure if I’m right yet. Cheers.
