I agree with you that fixed supply flies in the face of every existing economic theory. However suggesting that it’s going to stop spending is an unjustifiable claim. Humans have infinite demand for resources including energy, materials, health services, food, water etc. therefore we will all need to spend something in exchange for those resources eventually.
