Honestly, all this LLM hype is making me not want to speak at any conferences. When a third of all content is LLM garbage, it makes me question my sanity and lose hope in humanity. That's the inverse of what I hope to get in exchange for donating my time.
I think the bubble needs to pop before these events become bearable again. Every few years there's a new annoying hype, but this time it's so much worse.
I have one last commitment for this summer and then I'll be taking a long break.
