I'm getting way more side projects done now (in addition to accomplishing way more during my day job); I am also leaving a wake of half finished projects. I was just looking through my recent projects and saw a simple game I worked on that is a clone of dr. mario world battles. I got it like 75% done and then abandoned it to start other projects 😆 . I've released two small games this year. I'm currently working on an update to an old open source game I maintain. I also started a more complex game that I am aiming to release in Q1. And that's just in my spare time. And my spare time is quite limited because I am married and have two kids 😆

No, you are absolutely right, even the best coders are finding that they can develop faster with ai tools.

I think it's amazing that people can create things without personally knowing how to code. Right now I can still create things that are technologically better designed than an ai alone, but in a few years that might not be true anymore. In five years poking and prodding technical designs might just be a waste of time and tokens.

Yeah, I know these tools can commit to git without intervention, which is nice. I usually prefer to do the git commits myself though. I did recently have cursor edit some local commits for me. I had accidentally committed a local password and I wanted to purge it before pushing.
I've become very documentation centric with ai. I have it write all the documentation first. I only have it write code when I am happy with the docs. I've gotten great results this way, and I have great documentation when I am finished.

very curious, because I know you are approaching this without a development background. Are you using git for version control? Are you having Claude write documentation for you?

Completely fiction. The United States in our history has had multiple secular waves interspersed by revivals. The population was often not very christian at all. And there have been notable jewish citizens throughout the history of the United States.

True. The abolition movement in both Britain and the United States was explicitly Christian. Christians ended slavery. We will not be blamed for a practice that was ended by our forebears.

the macro scam is creating scarcity where there is none. Higher graded cards become sought after for the grade, even though cards in very similar condition are extremely common. Same thing happened to coins in the 80s. By some of the same players. My dad was big into morgan dollars in the 80s. He got out when grading ruined the whole coin collecting scene.

A voting machine showed a message like this and you didn't immediately take your phone out and take a video? You didn't immediately complain to election officials? I hate electronic voting machines as much as anyone, but this is an op. Don't be stupid. They get a bunch of us to like/repost this stuff and then they go "look how stupid republicans are! They actually believe this! Voting machines are perfect and anyone who complains is stupid!"

No, the National Merit Scholar program is not merit based. The PSAT is merit based, but that is only round 1. Round 2 consists of a student essay, a teacher recommendation, and a guidance counselor recommendation. Those are graded by humans who can see names. Whites are being discriminated against in round 2. There is no reason to believe they aren't.

The red cross used to run this scam where every time any kind of local tragedy happened (, usually a house or apartment fire) a red cross rep would appear on local TV saying that the red cross is best to help and that's why it's so important to donate to the red cross. Locals would open their wallets and donate to the red cross. And then the local victims would get prsctically nothing. When pressed, the red cross would say that they never said donations would go to local victims and that they had to help people everywhere, not just here. They don't do this anymore because everyone caught on. Now, if there is a fire, locals organize and choose a trusted local to handle the money. Donations go directly to victims. The red cross can't steal the money and use it to move illegals into your country.

Yeah I am guessing this billboard is from 1980 or so. The mcdonalds double cheeseburger was my goto in the 00s. It cost $1. I would buy two and skip the fries. The regular cheeseburger was 95c. They eventually introduced the "mcdouble" which was the double cheeseburger with only one slice of cheese, but it kept the $1 price. The pandemic permanently fucked fast food. Fast food is barely less expensive than asit down restaurant now. And I try to eat out as little as possible.
