This would mean keeping the entire header sticky, including the Nostrich logo, which many users may find annoying. To keep the focus on notes, the header should stay hidden while scrolling.

Your follower count or who you are has no influence on how quickly we act on good feedback. If it’s worth testing, we’ll prioritize it.

Reddit to Nostr. Subreddits to specialized clients built around unique communities and interests. Instead of one platform for everyone, thousands of independent communities, each with its own experience, all connected through Nostr. Decentralization at its best.

Nostrich will aim to become a public company. Our vision is to bring in users who are also shareholders, building a massive community with a stake in what we’re creating. A giant club of users and owners. Think of what GameStop once created, but built around Nostr, Freedom Tech, Privacy, Open Markets and Bitcoin. Soon, we’ll share more.

2026-10-07 23:43:14 UTC

Nostr will need to grow out of necessity and through incentives. No any other way.

Very true. In fact, only 0.1% make real money, while the rest are just being fed content.

2026-10-07 23:21:56 UTC

Maybe we should incentivize people to build communities around specific topics and interests, or even create Nostr clients dedicated to those communities?

⚡ Today we’re launching Zap Campaigns. Since Nostrich Campaigns launched just a couple of weeks ago, hundreds of thousands of sats have already been paid out in rewards. Now you can advertise by zapping a batch of recent notes with your custom message. Authors keep the sats, while your message gets seen. Advertising, Nostr-style.

Amber bunker links are single use, so if the approval lands after the wait or gets delayed, the link expires. We further optimized Nostrich to handle late approvals but remote signer related delays are outside of clients' control.

Yes! Nostrich Marketplace follows the Open Markets Foundation specs (NIP-99 plus some standard conventions), nothing proprietary: 30402 listings, 30406 shipping, orders over NIP-17, kind 17 receipts, 31555 reviews (useless but we'll include anyway). Listings from Shopstr, Plebeian and Conduit will show up, and ours should work in theirs as well.

Yes, we’ll support digital goods behind a paywall. It probably won’t be part of the initial launch and will come at a later stage, but it’s definitely part of the Nostrich Marketplace roadmap.

We’d love to have you. Keep using it and let us know about anything that feels off or needs improvement. As for the wallet, it’s tied to your Nostr account and only you have control over it. You can always restore another wallet or switch to NWC if you prefer. We may also add an option to create a completely new wallet in the future, but a Bitcoin wallet can’t really be “deleted” in the traditional sense.

The best premium feature in Nostrich? There is no premium. Everything is unlocked. Everything is free.

2026-09-03 16:41:27 UTC

For transparency, here’s the entire Nostrich trending algorithm:
Score = 3Z + 2Rp + 3Q + 2Re + Ra + Bs
where: Z = unique zappers, Rp = reposts, Q = quotes, Re = replies, Ra = reactions, Bs = sats bonus
The sats bonus is deliberately small, keeping its weight minimal while still allowing value to count as a meaningful signal.
1+ sats = +1
10+ = +2
100+ = +3
500+ = +4
1k+ = +5
5k+ = +6
10k+ = +7
It caps at 7 points. A million sats scores the same as 10,000, and the bonus stays at zero until at least two different people have zapped. Money can register, but it can’t outvote humans.
⚡ Zap amounts only count from validated receipts. Signatures are checked and bolt11 is decoded. Forged receipts add nothing.
👥 Engagement is counted by distinct people, rebuilt from relay events rather than trusting index claims. One person replying five times still counts as one.
🚪 Replies, quotes, and reposts only count if the author passes our discovery gate: name, picture, NIP-05 are counted as better signals and at least 10 notes + 10 replies of history required. Freshly minted spam farmers contribute zero.
🔁 Quotes count as 1.5× reposts. Adding your own thoughts around a note is 1.5× as meaningful as simply reposting it.
📈 Bursts don’t immediately dominate longer charts. A note needs an hour of staying power to enter 4h trending and four hours to enter 24h. Sudden bursts stay in the 1h chart, where they belong before they graduate.
👤 One note per author per chart, popular accounts cannot pollute the trending table.
🌍 Same trending list for everyone. No personalization.
⏳ Rebuilt every 5 minutes from public relay data.
👻 And to spammers: nothing is set in stone. If you can game it, we’ll be watching and adjusting.
