And you can use an offline computer for that...

Why is that? You can roll your own dice. Only part that needs a computer is the calculation of the checksum word (12th or 24th word) of your seed words.

Well you have to weigh the risks. A typo versus the risk of three (instead of two) compromised devices/software needed to steel your assets.
If you make a setup like this (2-of-3, or 3-of-3). I suppose you test it before you use it. Like delete everything and recover it from backup seeds. So that way you know you don't have a typo.
Did you have a typo in your passphrase? You could still try. It shouldn't be that difficult to recover.

The hardware Wallet is an offline signing device. How are you going to sign a transaction if your info is written down on a piece of paper. Entering your seed in a wallet on a internet connected device every time you want to do a transaction is less secure then a hardware wallet. Or are you saying that you should only import the one private key that belongs to a single address in your wallet?

If you put that much effort in the setup, why not 3-of-3 multisig? It would add so much more security.

Agreed! And how can bitcoin help us to free our selfs ? Or do we have to migrate to other jurisdictions?

You are not wrong either, but a slight correction. USA already took over the world's energy decades ago. It is just trying to suppress the uprising ... Which causes friction

> Only use private funds for coinjoin payments
What does this mean? It sounds stupid for an outsider. You need private funds to make them private?

What would be the advantage of bitcoin if we go (back) to a fractional reserve standard? Nothing would have been changed for the better. Fractional reserve banking is immoral. Bitcoin becoming like the paper gold market does not solve anything.
Well maybe one thing: the audit of the reserves in bitcoin is easy and with gold less easy. So with bitcoin you will know how much money they would have been creating (how hard you will be fucked), thereby being able to calculate the risks and giving a signal how much interest you should be asking at this specific bank. In time the shenanigans will lobby the government that audits are not necessary and a thread to the stability of the financial system etc etc.
I guess that all comes back to the education of the people:
- don't use systems that do fractional reserve banking
- don't do interest.

As if this something new?? Why doesn't this tech developer contribute to existing open source projects like libre office or is it just an attention seeker?
Maybe he only cares about his reverse engineering project. And conclude how well it works?

Well this is not simplex specific is it? If the hardware or OS is leaky then every app is not secure.
I don't understand your statement "is being solved by retro crypto"
You have solved the problem of backdoored hardware and OSes? Could you explain more?

@nprofile…5wru i think you are a bit confused. Killing someone for drawing and killing someone (millions) for their countries natural resources is both wrong.

This is just misdirection. Cutting funding to Israel is no problem when the national defence authorisation act of 2027 is passed. The proposed merger between the israeli and american army will give all the access the Israelis need.

The wars are the costs and the millions of death are the sacrifices to uphold the fiat monetary system. Compare that to the costs of upholding a system like bitcoin (and then they complain about how much energy mining costs). It is unimaginably cheaper in direct financial costs. The indirect costs, the immense suffering, I am not even putting a number on it. If you still think American actions and wars in the middle east or elsewhere are for the interest of the American people you don't understand fiat money/reserve currency status and you don't know which problem bitcoin solves (so I guess I am a little disappointed with Aarons analysis of the CIA/mossad orchestrated protests). I don't like the Iran regime. But it's their country and it would be very naive to think American intervention is to liberate the Iranian people. The freedom loving Iranians are brutely used by the American empire to push their own interest. That is to uphold the fiat reserve currency status. Even if the war was successful in getting a 'American' friendly regime and Iranian girls would be walking in modern mini skirts (I have no problem with modern clothing), it would still be walking in a mini skirt as a debt slave in an American fiat world. The optics of freedom is not the same as being a real free sovereign.

"Iran has never posed a threat to the United States, but we had to attack them first, not because of Israel, but because they posed an imminent threat to the United States."
You don't understand. There was an imminent thread. The iranians were going to attack us-bases if attacked by israel. So trump was not lying, but he could have asked the israeli's not to attack. Maybe he asked but did not have any leverage over the Israeli's to make them stop the attack.Hin that case he is not a strong leader.
