The primal signer isn't working right now, but I will have a fix for this soon. Sorry for the slow response!

🛶 Coracle 0.5.0 has (finally) arrived!
The focus of this release is, well, focus. This is a huge release, with lots of improvements to existing features — and the removal of a few thousand lines of code.
Some quick highlights:
- "Undo" via delayed send can be enabled in Coracle's settings. This allows you to quickly correct those typos you notice just as you press "send".
- Login and onboarding have been completely re-worked to walk the delicate balance between flexibility/security and a comprehensible UX.
- Feeds are now faster, especially relay-based feeds. The controls for feeds should also be incrementally improved.
- The note create/reply inputs are now powered by nostr-editor for a smoother editing experience (thanks @nprofile…wrt7!)
- The HUD (which you can access in the left sidebar on desktop) now has information about relay connections and NOTICE messages.
In other news, groups, calendars, and marketplaces are gone 😭. The good news is that feeds are better, and will continue to get improved — including render support for (almost) any nostr event. If you're very attached to NIP 72 communities or NIP 89 private groups (R.I.P 🪦), you can still access the previous version of Coracle at https://groups.coracle.social. Or, if you want BETTER GROUPS, give https://flotilla.social a try (NIP 29 compatibility coming soon)!
Support for sending NIP 04 messages has also been removed this release (you'll still be able to read messages you've received).
Thank you to @nprofile…8ecu for your design input, and @nprofile…w37u for doing the heavy lifting on this release!

Hey, just saw this — has this cleared up or are you still having issues?

You can already mute both profiles and messages (use the microphone icon). Block is impossible on nostr.

Keynes is famous for saying the consequences of his economic theories don't matter because he'll be dead. Bitcoiners should make sure to keep answering the questions of where we will be in one, two, five hundred years.

The stock to flow model is silly, but it caught on because it gets at the important truth that bitcoin's supply is limited, which leads to price appreciation.

Also, fair warning, writing a client is a lot more work than you would expect. I'm about 80 hours in at this point.

I only recently started coracle.social, why not help out there? It's web, so you could wrap it in electron if you want.

Alternatively, make micro clients embeddable, then build a macro client that can wrap many micros and sign events on the user's behalf. Or, make micro clients as libraries that macros can compose.

Partially, I'm not being terribly systematic about plementing NIPs, just trying to solve user experience in Coracle as fast as I can for now

Gender identity is an invention of postmodernism, which seeks to break down every restraint on human desire. God's word cannot be broken, he made the world in a particular way that we are in rebellion against, and it's only through Christ that we can be spared his righteous judgment.

You could do both, charge for hosting, pay out for engagement. The latter half of that would be challenging with nostr though.

Only if all users have to pay. If you charge power users (more than x posts a day, huge social graph, many images) you can fund the infrastructure and keep the platform free for plebs. This model would support infuencers who want to build a social business without shoving advertising down everyone's throat.

I put that in there as the very beginning of a distributed moderation system, but it needs to be built out further.
