Good morning nostr, the weather forecast says we'll have highs in the 70's this weekend, but until then its still in the 90's. Recently i bought a small weather radio, and i'm impressed with how good the sound is. The last one i bought many years ago had lots of static and just sucked, but these have come a long way i guess. I wanted one mainly for emergency weather alerts, and it also has am/fm, battery and solar backup charging, pretty cool. Anyway, yall have a great tuesday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart. #coffeechain

Good morning nostr, its monday again, time to make a little progress on the daily to-do lists. After the morning chores we need to pick up a few things in town, then i want to throw out some more daikon radish seeds everywhere. Daikon seems to do better in cooler temps, like most other things. The chickens and rabbits love the stuff. Anyway, i need to finish my coffee and start the day. Yall have a great monday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart. #coffeechain

Good night nostr, its been a nice relaxing day, sometimes you just need an easy day. I love this time of year. And i still love nostr. I was thinking back to when i was first trying to figure out how to sign up, how to connect a wallet, all that. Its alot easier to start on nostr now, but i'm glad i had to struggle at first. The relay stuff is still mostly a mystery to me, so i'm no expert. But i have seen lots of improvement in my user experience, and i look forward to being here for all the future stuff on nostr. Yall have a good evening friends. #homesteading #nostr

Its been an easy, kinda lazy sunday afternoon. After church we came home and had some fantastic venison cheeseburgers, then i did a few chores before making the executive decision to simply enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Lucy loves to sit on the swing with me. #countrylife #homesteading #SimplePleasures

Good morning nostr, and happy sunday. Today we have church, then will just hang around here i think. Yesterday i planted a bag of sunchokes that a friend gave me. Probably not the best time of year to plant them, but i'll give it a chance since i have them. Supposed to be super hardy, even invasive, we'll see. Yall have a great sunday, enjoy your coffee, and remember that today is a gift. #coffeechain

Good morning nostr, its a crisp morning, and i opened up some windows to let in some of that 61 degree air into the house. It'll be 93 later, so these mornings are a treat. Yesterday i gathered up a good pile of stuff from a closet that we'll be donating to the resale shop today. I need to look around and see what else can go, cuz it feels good to de-clutter. Anyway, yall have a great saturday, enjoy your coffee, and remember that today is a gift. #coffeechain

Good morning nostr, its a new day and i'm ready for it, as soon as i finish my coffee. Today we'll be looking around the exterior of the house to see if anything needs repair or attention. Yesterday we had a roofer come and find a small leak that was over our patio. Its a metal roof, so we thought it might be a bad screw or one of the transition seams. He replaced several of the screws that had rotted gaskets, so next time it rains we'll see. There are some repairs we need to make to the back porch, but i think we can do most of that ourselves. Anyway, yall have a great thursday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart. #coffeechain
