Also recommend JRE with Dean Radin, similar topics probably but different approach :)
Also, R. I. P. To Gregg Braden 🙏 He was one of those mysterious black-project-research-related deaths earlier this year.

I am everybody
and I am nobody.
The only real lie is:
I am me.

Loved your speech today @nprofile…pecd! Very interesting topic, and I loved the framework you presented. For those who didn't see it, it was about defining your purpose, your values and your identity, and then deriving the digitals tools and the physical lifestyle and voice from there. I think it hits on a great point regarding making sure everyone knows their purpose, before focusing on the work, the tools, or the lifestyle. Only by having that alignment can you really be successful at what you do.
I was happy to see lots of people were fans of the show! Sorry about the fanboy excitement I had when you walked past. I just wanted to say you rocked it! 🧡

Hey! So if you're interested in a more "circular economy" setup and are based in Europe, I'm friends with a professional hoster who hosts VPSs for his local community and is looking to expand more generally to a wider audience. He's based out of the countryside in France, near the alps and is potentially interested in accepting payments in Bitcoin.
Let me know if that could work for you!

By far the healthiest place is here. Full control and no algorithms for me is a great trade-off.
Given that I wasn't using LSM anyways, it wasn't hard for me to become a nostr-native. I'm discounting the fact that I keep social relations on certain LSM, use traditional messengers and watch youtube. But over time I hope to squeeze that last portion of utility and value out of them and move over to full sovereignty.
The sad thing is in fact that, as you said, many are just too comfortable, addicted or dependent (in the case of those with large audiences) to hit the switch. They won't be able to benefit from the more "real" interactions, as well as the real control over one's social media experience.
I empathise with them, but I also prioritise listening to those who are real on Nostr since that for me is signal above noise. For some reason, the ones active on twitter carry over a vibe that can be felt, a kind of sickness where their words need to fight for survival, instead of just being.
The complete opposite to the "GMs" and "here's my update from the farm" or the simple quotes or handmade artwork that individuals distribute here on Nostr. You control your feed, and you can choose whatever experience you like.
The perfect example for me was the "drama" that went down last weekend. Two highly active "celebrities" carrying over tons of social anxiety into their behaviour. People reacting out of excitement. But very quickly, the fight dies down and for 3 days I hear people posting about how important it is for us to stick together. That's what happens when you don't have an algorithm feeding the fire. The difference is clear as day for me.
So keep on going, Nostr-natives. Share whatever you like and build your circle. Nice to make your acquaintance, by the way 😉

Here is really the only place you can find raw data like this, with no gatekeeper in the way and no algorithm to skew the picture. I agree that there's something that nostr brings here that you cannot find on the traditional platforms, or even less, in the traditional news.

2026-06-03 07:55:40 UTC

@nprofile…9ehp I think the Nostr.com landing page is super cool, explains the concept super well and I show it to everyone. Love that there's no client attached to it (even if that's very unexpected).
I used to look at that landing page regularly before actually jumping in and joining nostr, just because I found it really well articulated.
You've done a good job 👍💪

Oh... and add "/preview" to the link to avoid it doing the fancy embedding:

In the meantime though, you can just create a public link to your media and share it here. Nostr clients will load images automatically.
Example from my nextcloud:

This sounds like it could be possible via a nextcloud plugin.
At least for exposing your photos/videos over blossom, this would make sense. It would allow for replication as well which would creat censorship resistance.
Other parts of the blossom protocol could be replicated afterwards (allowing uploads, paid media, nostr whitelists, etc).
I think this is an awesome idea! The adoption of NextCloud would mean that a bunch of people can instantly start up blossom servers, more storage space for everybody 🔥
Perhaps for any devs out there, or just for myself, here's a tutorial about how to develop a plugin for nextcloud:

I already follow many of these principles! I myself am vegetarian with few exceptions, and am working on turning my lifestyle into a more ecological one.
It's difficult to summarise my background. In short, I'm a digital nomad IT engineer / developer that loves nature, and am looking to develop skills in sustainable living, ecology, permaculture. I volunteer on a farm and am looking to connect with ecovillage / sustainability projects. I've been very health-conscious for a long time, mixing that with spiritual awakening and higher consciousness living, such as showing empathy and waking up from the many illusions of the mainstream.
I've got a very mixed international background growing across Europe and Asia. Currently I go between Germany, France and Italy, but I love to travel and am considering doing longer stays for eco-projects worldwide. I really want to understand the design skills needed create sustainable living spaces at the individual and community level.
The "mixer" I'm referring to is more accurately a blender. I just thought the play on words was funny ;)

Ciao Isobella 😊
Keep it up 💪☀️❤️

@npub1zl3…jajh I just onboarded my girlfriend on Nostr. We tried Amesthyst, Primal, and Yakkihone. They were all awkward and clunky despite being such famous clients. I just needed one that worked and felt like a smooth social media experience for her.
Then Nostria rocked it. Plus it has all these cool additional features built-in that I think she'll discover over time. She even had my DM from 0xChat which I didn't see on any other client.
Keep it going. I've moved over to Nostria myself and I'll check out the subscription if the support can help. Much love 💪❤️
