You get that nostalgia because you could have fun moments with your friends in Halo, way more than the other games. You could spend an hour in forge and spend something special that everyone would remember.

no, ClaudeFlare, it does not read them in exactly the same way actually. They are not wrapped in user message tokens, and THAT is why the LLM knows it is the result of a tool call. Which you would know if you weren't vibecoding everything. Goddamn.

In case you're wondering how my week is going: The habitat has lost satellite uplink to the colony ship and a terrible sandstorm is buffeting the outer hull. The oxygen generator gives an ominous hiss and a beep every two hours, though unfortunately the engineer responsible for its maintenance has fallen down a borehole at a dig site 20 clicks north from camp and took the datapad with the schematics with him. The rescue crew has not returned and Dr. Fletcher is not answering our radio call outs. We can't get a visual of the dig site in these conditions, though the man who went up the Scavvy Hill antenna with his binoculars swore up and down that he saw that monolith through the sand clouds, for just a moment, before he collapsed with a terrible seizure in the middle of the mess hall. That damn monolith. When I close my eyes at night, I can still hear the hum.

I guess you don't believe me, but at this point it really depends on your cloud spend. For me personally, I enjoy local because I never have to think about how much usage my prompt would burn, and with a setup like yours (especially if Strata can saturate both cards simultaneously), you'd easily run a Q4 upwards and at very decent speed as well.
Since I can't get an answer out of you re ctx size, it's hard to gauge how far off I even am, so I'll leave it at this.

I wasn't trying to misstate your position either. You *did* give the description as an argument as to why it couldn't be AI. Whereas when I read that it makes me more suspicious.
I am not an expert, have not claimed to be. I do like DnB though, and I know that it doesn't have a bitcrusher over the vocal track every single time though.

I can HEAR the AI distortion and you hit me with "low effort songs just sound like they have a bitcrusher applied to them" and they just obviously don't.
We won't see eye to eye on this. I'm not saying this makes me right, I'm saying I can't even begin to fathom how you can think this but I believe you that you clearly do.

I think AI image gen has mostly reached this point. Not so sure about the audio pipelines.
With images you can now controlNet, reference, denoise, etc. to gain some pretty precise control compared to just letting it run.
But with audio it seems to me that you are still just pulling the lever and hope everything falls out in the right place. I don't know if they have the same sort of mix-and-match workflows that image and video has.

@npub1jxn…ylhx That's why I was so shocked he did nothing with the polyjuice moment. I've read a different one where they get flustered because Malfoid is changing clothes and leave, and Harry says "I think you're beautiful, Draconia" before they leave and I thought that at least something like this was in the cards here, but no

@npub12pz…r6ea another item on the long itinerary that I am not doing but should
you'd hate it, I'm sure.
I would've literally done Chapter 1 Book 2 something like this
>“Oh, yes, sir,” said Dobby earnestly. “Dobby has come to tell you, sir . . . it is difficult, sir . . . Dobby wonders where to begin. . . .”
>“Sit down,” said Harry politely, pointing at the bed.To his horror, the elf burst into tears — very noisy tears.
>“S-sit down!” he wailed. “Never . . . never ever . . .”
>Harry thought he heard the voices downstairs falter.“I’m sorry,” he whispered, “I didn’t mean to offend you or anything —”
>“Offend Dobby!” choked the elf. “Dobby has never been asked to sit down by a wizard — like an equal —”
>"An equal" thought Harry. If this was the best these wretched creatures could muster when you were being *kind*, it really would beg the question. What use is a slave like this?
>It was truly a repulsive creature. Harry hoped it would leave soon.
and later
> “It was bad,” said Ron hoarsely, emerging over the tabletop looking pale and sweaty. “Malfoy called her ‘Mudblood,’ Hagrid —”Ron dived out of sight again as a fresh wave of slugs made their appearance. Hagrid looked outraged.
>“She didn’!” he growled at Hermione.
>“She did,” she replied. “But I don’t know what it means. I could tell it was really rude, of course —”
>“It’s about the most insulting thing she could think of,” gasped Ron, coming back up. “Mudblood’s a really foul name for someone who is Muggle-born — you know, non-magic parents. There are some wizards — like Malfoy’s family — who think they’re better than everyone else because they’re what people call pure-blood.” He gave a small burp, and a single slug fell into his outstretched hand. He threw it into the basin and continued, “I mean, the rest of us know it doesn’t make any difference at all. Look at Neville Longbottom — he’s pure-blood and he can hardly stand a cauldron the right way up.”
>Harry raised his eyebrow. He remembered Neville telling him that the magical side of his family was really afraid he wasn't magical at all.
>He hadn't had much education in way of genetics, but when he sat in his cupboard under the stairs, there sometimes was some Attenborough on the living room television, and he picked up snippets.
>Hermione wasn't buying it either. She could probably pass the A-levels in biology, given the way she absorbed books.
>“An’ they haven’t invented a spell our Hermione can’ do,” said Hagrid proudly, making Hermione go a brilliant shade of magenta.
>“It’s a disgusting thing to call someone,” said Ron, wiping his sweaty brow with a shaking hand.
>'Disgusting', was it? Harry smirked at the irony staring him in the face. Ron was drooling slug-slime and vomiting more up by the minute. Not exactly a sight for sore eyes.
>“Dirty blood, see. Common blood. It’s ridiculous. Most wizards these days are half-blood anyway. If we hadn’t married Muggles we’d’ve died out.” Ron looked around the room weakly, as if waiting for applause. Harry rolled his eyes. That slogan must have been in the Prophet. His mind drifted to Malfoy. "Not all are, though."
and so on.

@npub1scc…jts8 Crisprtek has a point
I keep seeing media, after these Republican interlopers took it over, that makes Malfoid just a "formerly bigoted" girl romance where she comes over to Harry's side instead of he to hers.
