It was my dad's birthday on Friday and I went up to see him and my brother on Sunday. Hung out at my brother's place and he was playing Stardew Valley between baby duties. Ergo, when I got home I have been needing to play my copy of Stardew Valley in basically every non-work moment of the day since I got back from Launceston

If this was at 5:30pm, I believe that I said yes and qualified that it was 'fine now' (aka after five pm), but that is was a 'bit strong in an enclosed space' when you had first gotten in the car.
I said that when you had first gotten in the car (approx. 2:30pm) that I had needed to open the windows when you first got in my car. Which I literally did do when you got In, I cracked front and rear windows.
And you explained something about time and cologne and etc around 5:30pm and I had agreed. Strong can be good hours later, even if the top smell is too strong

I don't even cook toast in that fucking kitchen. I used to meal prep and put shit in containers to freeze and eat over the course of the following week, but now I just have packaged and sealed shit, like cold beans or whatever. I'm not going to use the oven only to get screamed at if anything requires more than 180 degrees Celsius (fan forced ovens aren't meant to go to 200 degrees Celsius according to her, and if it breaks I allegedly will be responsible), have anything I make get tampered with the second I leave the room (because she was a volunteer home ec teacher for one semester in the 90s, ergo fucking anything she does to my food must be correct even if it tastes like the Dead Sea afterwards), and potentially get contaminated by rats because of course she leaves shit on the bench for rats and then tells me that I must be the reason because I have fucking sealed tins of beans and sealed juiceboxes of v8 in the cupboard, but she'll leave half-eaten plates of food on the bench overnight and that's fiiiine apparently

This lady has falsely accused me of breaking shit! They must have a Cunt Landlady Club somewhere, where they just cackle, drink, smoke, and swap stories about the fuckery they do their boarders.
And she has this yappy little Maltese Shitzu x Terrier that pisses and shits on the carpet. And there are fucking rats in the kitchen.

2026-09-19 00:43:40 UTC

TL;DR My landlady threw one of her tantrums and accidentally revealed that she has (almost certainly) been stealing my mail.
Actual insane behaviour from the lady I board with just now.
She asked me to buy her cigarettes, but I said that I didn't have the money as "I am pretty much broke until Wednesday". She then stormed off screaming something like, "Fine, I'll go sell my ass on the street for all anyone cares!" And I heared her door slam.
Then, surprised by that but thinking she was just in nicotine withdrawal or something, I kept doing my Saturday morning laundry (as I am only allowed to use the washing machine between 7:30am and 10:30am on a Saturday or she screams at me). But cut to a few minutes ago, she shouts to me through my bedroom door, "Your washing won't wash itself just sitting in the machine," which reminds me that her earlier freakout distracted me from the task at hand.
I then go add laundry liquid and turn on the machine as I hear her bedroom door (opposite the bathroom wherein the washing machine is located) slam shut again. I then hear her loudly (performatively?) talking to herself, saying "... Too busy in your room thinking about how broke you are, Liar. I hate being lied to..." (and similar things that she was saying).
Hearing what she was saying, I asked her if she was talking about me and tried to reaffirm that I wasn't lying. She shouted at me more through the door, and shouted that I had 'thousands in the bank', and claimed that I was a liar some more. I reasserted my innocence, asked what she was even talking about and went back to my room, confused and stressed.
However, I recalled that I had tried to set up my BoQ credit card statements to be delivered as physical mail rather than via their online banking system wherein access requires another app for 2FA (the app requires a phone call to sync it to the account each time it is deleted, and I am not going to disable my phone's setting to uninstall apps that don't get used at least once every 30 days for this one fucking app, but that's a rant for another day. Everything needs a fucking app ffs and BoQ wants TWO fucking apps on my phone?? T.T). So, I was meant to get my physical statement with the amount owing and the minimum amount to be repayed for this month. The payments are due on the 25th and I haven't gotten the letter yet. Or so I thought.
Now, I'm thinking that she saw the bank logo, read my mail (incorrectly), and now assumes that I have money instead of consolidated debt repayments.

Actually think about this for a minute. Like actually. I almost made this point earlier but I didn't want to get too serious. But yeah, this does trivialise actual paedophilia. If you care enough about this, go to fucking church and watch for the dudes wearing sunglasses inside or who always volunteer to work with the kids but act like they are on a power trip

it depends on the state, but in Tasmania the age of consent is 17. However, if one or both of the parties are under 17, then there's this 3-year/5-year precedent that kicks in. 12-14 year olds can have sex with someone up to 3 years older without it being illegal, and 15-17 year olds can have sex with someone up to 5 years older than them without it being illegal. However, younger than 12 is excluded from the 3-year/5-year thing. And like a 17yo can't legally have sex with a 12yo because the younger party is the one that the legal precedent is measured off of.

yeah, plus I work in the community service sector and I go to talks and conferences on shit occasionally. And there was one where they literally used a 15yo and a 20yo as an example of a sexual relationship that is technically against age of consent but is not illegal when they were explaining this shit.

also in Tasmania there's this 3year/5year thing that you learn about when working with at risk youth. A fifteen year old can fuck a twenty year old and (even though the age of consent is 17 in Tas), the sex isn't illegal because they are within 5 years of the younger party and the younger is at least 15.
